also the 2600k is an intel i7 on the 1150 chipset plateform.
insted of buying all of that with not really good graphic card buy this
Zt Affinity 7423 MI something like that i have it and i get 243.48 FPS 250 is the maximum FPS btw -
What the hell are you talking about
are you calling this card:
http://www.legitreviews.com/images/reviews/1891/geforce-gtx680-sli.jpg
a not very good graphic card ? It's the actual best graphic card on the market for gaming, it's soon to be second with the gtx690 coming out (but **** 800$ for it ...)
And my computer is running smooth any game. And there's no card named: Zt Affinity 7423 MI
I can't complain about my setup at all:
CPU: i7 950 @ 3.43 ghz (8cpus)
Memory: 24576MB Ram
Core Clock:1058MHz
Boost Clock:1124MHz
CUDA Cores:1536
Effective Memory Clock: 6208MHz
GPU Memory: 4043 MB
So next time before saying stuff that you don't understand much Sir MMO please get some information. -

That's probably the 2nd grossest thing I've ever seen.
Not gonna start arguing with you but...
Let's see the facts...
Intel is better than AMD. Okay.I agree with this.
AMD is way cheaper than Intel + a lot cooler.( 5 of my friends got Intel and if they play games for 2 hrs+ they got 70-80 with stock cooler. I got stock cooler and I can play 10 days non stop and my AMD will never reach that temperature)
Who wins? 15%+ performance for 1k $$$( just the CPU) or AMD for 300$.( Intel i7 Extreme vs AMD Phenom II x6)
I know what I would pick. -

I'm not an Intel fan or either an AMD fan.
Just gotta tell some facts.
For GAMING, Intel will be cheaper. Lets compare Intel i3 2100 (100$) & AMD Phenom X6 1100T BE (200$)
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/203?vs=289
As you can see Intel's i3 2100 gives better performance for gaming, that tells that AMD is really really outdated. Phenom X6 is still the most powerful cpu from AMD (stock) and it came out 4 years ago(?). And bout the cooling, stock cooling is sh1t and has always been. Both manufactors stock cooler have probably pretty same specs.
Intel > AMD, in EVERY category.
i5 2500K & i7 2600K are the two best cpu's in price/quality. -

Compare the FX 8150 with the i3
I said AMD Phenom II X6 and Intel i7 Extreme cuz this is what I had to choose between.
And I was referring about same cores CPU's.
Anyway, if we talk about performance Intel wins from miles away.
If we talk about quality/price ratio.... I think Intel simply doesn't worth the money. -
I still play my games with a core 2 duo. Games that require a tri or quad core processor are just too much for my cpu. I wish I had a phenom x4/x6 or an i5.
Intel is better (waaay better) than AMD, but games aren't that picky!
Only if you are a crazy gringo (no offense) who buys 4 video cards and put them in sli/cf, then the debate "Intel vs AMD" is important to you, because you will need a really badass chip. -

The way AMD works is, the more cores you have the worse it performs at things that require less cores. Intel is much better, in the way that even if you have 8 cores, something that only requires 1 core will be quick, whereas with AMD if you have 8 cores, something that has 1 core will be slower than if you had intel.
AMD is good for if you know exactly how many cores you're going to be using, yes. But Intel is much better in the way that even if you buy more cores, you're not going to be penalized for it when doing tasks that only take one or two cores.
Getting lots of cores NOW with Intel is a good thing to do, and once more applications start utilizing more cores you're going to be good and won't need a new CPU.
Getting lots of cores NOW with AMD is a bad thing to do, because most applications don't use more than a couple cores. If you get a processor with only a couple cores, it might be cheaper now, but in the long run you're going to have to buy another CPU, instead of if you had used Intel you could have just stayed with the same one.Not sure how that makes someone a fan of them/changes their opinion.
If they have any smarts, they can compare them. Also what I said above helps. -
