Any good GMer will tell you the following:

If you can't bunny hop in ghost mode, the game would be completely one sided in the way that Global Risk would win 99% of the rounds.

Bhopping is indeed a glitch, you're right. Other versions of the game can't get rid of it, so they added a noise every time the ghost touches the ground during bhopping.

The Game Masters of this game (GMs) think that this glitch is in fact a good thing, so they don't want the same noise added that was added in the other versions when the ghost hits the ground. They've said bhopping is completely fine to do, and adds a competitive edge to the mode, which, as a ghost mode player, I agree with completely.

Consider bunny hopping as a skill you need to learn to be a good ghost mode player. It has a fairly large learning curve, but with a lot of practice, you can get as good as the best Ghost Mode players in the game.
