Vent to work with Crossfire?

I had to go back to factory settings on my pc and now I can't talk in vent while in the crossfire game. Never had any trouble before any help?

do you use windows vista?

in case you do, you have to open ventrilo as an administrator (yeah it doesnt matter if u are already in your main session, you still have to right click ventrilo and open it as an administrator)
