Sound goes out mid game

Been having this problem ever since I reformatted my computer, I play for a bit (2-5 minutes), then my sound goes out in game.

I've noticed this is an issue in CSS as well, my game and sound lags when I spray or tap with the AK/M4. I use a headset, so could this be directly related to sound drivers by chance?

Any help is appreciated.

Probably something wrong with your hardware.

Could be, lowering my sound in game fixes the problem for source, but trying the same thing in Crossfire only delays the problem.

I'd look at checking your sound drivers. Do you know what motherboard/Sound card you have & What Operating system your using?
