Help: Gun Collector Ribbon

Hi guys, I know starting weapons/knife don't count towards this ribbon, but what about some other items? Which of the following items count?:

-Permanent Axe
-Repeats of the same weapon (e.g. do 5 RPKs count as 5/25 weapons for the ribbon)
-Smoke Grenade and Flash Grenade
-EDIT: sold and rebought frag grenades
-(also, do repeats of grenades count?)

Grenades don't count and perm axe don't count and having repeats of same weapons count.

thx

axe counts (pretty sure), nades don't, apparantly multiple weapons work as well

oh ok thx a lot. why dont everyone just keep buying the cheapest pistol to get that ribbon then? lol

those that figure it out do.
Also I think the limit for a gun is 6.

-Limit per guns are 6
-Melees (not knife or temp melees) count, such as Axes, Shovel H, Kris Xmas, Kukri RD
-Grenades, Flashes and Smokes dont count
-Xmas hats count (since it came from crates) but doesnt show up in profile on the clan pages

Just beware if you are counting weapons from the clan page. Some items don't have the [T] symbol for temperory, like the XM8 Spring or Coupon exchange guns (like Wrenches, Remmingtons, M16A4, etc)

Crying and pRaze, didn't saidin say melee won't count because they want to make it more of a "gun" ribbon than a melee

Insomniac: Cuz ppl can only buy a maximum of 6 of each guns including BM guns.

I dont think any of the things you did mention count.

Only guns you bought and still own.
And melees you bought and still own.

Grenades: no
Starters: no

From the Ribbons FAQ/Guide:

The "Gun Hobbyist" Ribbon is going to be a progressive achievement. Later you will get more ribbons for having more permanent weapons. But this time only weapons you OWN (guns) and not melee weapons will count. These details have slightly changed. Please see new FAQ answer following this Q.
