Is the AK-47 for me?
First off, I want to say hi to everybody on the forums, as I'm new here and to this game.
So, I'm the kind of player who likes to rush and just go rambo on the other team. Now that I'm about to reach staff sergeant, I think this time to buy a real gun and a pistol. So, therefore, I thought about buying the ak. So many people told me that this gun was very hard to control and such, and that I would be better with an SMG or an M4a1. Do you guys think I can rush with an AK?
Then, I have to choose between the Anaconda and the Deagle. I kind of prefer the Anaconda for it's sexy looks, but it is pretty expensive, has a slower ROF than the deagle, and 1 less bullet per mag.
Can you guys help me out a bit here?

I personally would use an AK for rushing. The recoil imo is easy to control after you get used to it. Since its always the same pattern, you can predict where the shots are going.
The XM8 is a good rushing gun too.
Reload is the same as the AK
Damage is strong @ the chest
Full wallbang (So you can kill them if they run behind a box)
If you like the AK, just practice with it, 1 Shotting and bursting is easy, the recoil is what you need to practice to control. Just play EM with a friend and practice controlling the recoil against a wall. -

Thanks alot, but I'm not a fan of the XM8. I don't really like the looks on it + the scope kinda annoys me. I will try to control the AK recoil on shooting range/EM though. -
ak recoil is the easiest to effectively control once you learn it. its just a 7 or a backwards 7, and the top is completely flat.
Deagle is more all around; good accuracy, damage. you can't go wrong with it.
anaconda is better for getting headshots because its slower fire rate makes you aim more and makes it so every shot hits the center of the crosshair. -
The AK is one of the best weapons this game has when you learn how to control its shooting pattern, go and get it.
For secondary get the DEagle, is faster than the anaconda, thats why i like it.

lul, I spray with the AK @ close-mid range cuz its so easy for me now
If you can control the spray and a whole team is rushing @ you, 3+ kill streaks are easy. control the recoil to around chest/head level, and 1-3 shots later, kills :cool: -

Actually, you're right lol. I have pulled off some streak kills while spraying in a panic with it. It sprays so much at full auto that sometimes you can be pointing near the enemy's belt line and somehow get a headshot.
What I meant to say is that it's not ideal at all at spraying, so many guns are so much better at doing that. The AK's strength comes from being able to kill people in very few shots compared to other weapons, in my opinion. -
Rushing is where the AK47 Excels. Learn how to control the recoil and you won't be disappointed with it medium to close range. Long range the M4A1 easily wins though.
Not really, on such distances you have to tap/burst with any rifle weapon so it doesn't really matter + M4 on great distances is 4 shoots to kill while Ak 47 always remains 3 so even there Ak47 beats m4.
knife,gold,scope ect.. so just learn to use it and you will be happy.
