Problem with Z8 update
The thing is, Z8 makes patches and updates way too slow..., the players have to wait for 1 month (even 2) for new stuffs to come out. People will always get tired of the old contents so they would expect a lot from the new updates that come after few months.
However, z8 makes small updates over a long period of time...if they make the HMX updates every month that would make more sense. But a few items every "Month" is just unsatisfactory! Plus they are mostly temporary and not even that good or attractive for people to buy them (Such as the L85A1, or SG552 Camo...people rarely buy. The only temporary black market item people buy is M4a1 adv.)
Content updates are not as significant at this point though. As most people know, this game contains more bugs than any other games. Client errors, room host error, 90% loading problem, lagging problem(ping increase), install problem, xtrap problem...just to name a few. These problems, some even from few years ago, never got fixed in updates. Z8 is a company that is more passive when the users ask questions. This means, when we report or give them suggestions, they tend to ignore. The bugs I mentioned above they never post on their website saying, "We are aware of the problem...", therefore, most users have no idea whether they fixed the problems or not. Finally, when they waited for weeks, months for a new update to come, they find out non of the bugs are fixed. Not even mentioned in their "Known bugs" section. Of course that would **** the players off because that just proves Z8 don't care about their opinions.

I agree. We should get NEW weapons, not just re skins. Most ZP temp guns from the shop, I have never seen in game. I bought the Veresk and Bizon for 7 days when released, and they are good, but nobody else buys them. the veresk is good i mean, the bizon is terrible.

Firstly, all of the patches are excellent.
Secondly, G4Box, Inc. does not control what comes in patches. -

An easy solution would be weapon/character customization just like in combat arms

I think the one month patch deal isn't too bad. Gives enough time for the previous patch to be integrated and fully played.
As for weapons, well there were original suggestions from this forum that were implemented ingame.
Guess it would be nice to see the community put out good ideas like that once more... -
I'm pretty sure if we had a patch of new weapons every week or so
we will eventually catch up to newest content of CF out there.
That will make the developers take a month to make new things which will add up taking a while for the newest matieral. Also, Client errors are ment to be in the game so no more glitchers will appear. -

I like the original purpose of client errors. Of course, it is meant to be there to get rid of the glitchers. But, it is happening to those people that are not glitching! Client error is not doing its original function properly. Some people, while walking, get errors. Some even not moving, get errors. I don't think this is what the developer originally planned for. Furthermore, I don't think client errors are present in any other versions of this game. As far as I know, the Chinese and the Taiwanese CF don't have errors. So it is a problem that can be solved. But this error has been here for a long time. Z8 may take a long time to fix it and I totally respect that and I understand they are trying their best. But sometimes when they do not mention about this problem, answer what the cause is, what causes it, how to solve it, or when they will solve it, make the player wonder if they are really paying attention to the problem or not. -

And once again, for clarification, Z8 doesn't make a thing, Z8Games is the name of the web portal that houses Metin 2 and Cross Fire. G4Box publishes Cross Fire, designs web content and manages the databases and servers, has some discussion with Smilegate on the content, and then it is Smilegate who physically codes and makes the assets that the game is updated with.Their pace of updates/new content seems fair
but what collides with that is that 50%+ of the "new" guns are temp
making them usable.
Doing a post edit for a quote above me. Not including functional items, or vanity items, permanent weapon content still outweighs non permanent weapon content. -

I wasn't saying we don't get patches enough or any of that jazz, I was simply giving my opinion that not all patches are, as he said "excellent". -

It depends on the patch. Creating a simple reskin on a weapon would take maybe 30 minutes to a couple hours depending how good they wanted to look, and putting in the stats wouldn't take long either. That's tops 2 hours of work for them on a reskin, that will get them tens of thousands of dollars (or more) from many different parts of the world. -
To be honest they should put more BlackMarket Weapons instead of Temp weapons... Loook what happend to Famas-Camo... only noob brought it... Almost 1 user per week buys it...
And the Dead Update weapons, PP19 Bizon... I have seen CFVN many times and they have GP Item Shop... Thats absurd... they should put it has GP Crate...
And what about the motherfúcking Coupons!!! WTF is this! all temp shít guns! No one wants it!
But the problem is, that GMSaidin is right, SmileGate is who is coding/putting out patches here... They know what do to, they don't listen to out suggestions... We can't do anything.. But since this is a FPS-Free2Play... I think he shouldn't complain... I'm happy bout every patch...New maps,guns,chars,features etc... its always epic...
