what style do u play, what type of team yours is.

M4 and AK don't mix very well. they work well as a group of M4s or AKs to exponentially excel at their strength.

True. Once mastered you'll be good. For me (and all I use is the AK) when I'm firing the weapon I tap my mouse and do 2-3 round bursts but if the need to spray comes up which happens sometimes I've noticed my recoil goes up and the the right, so I pull my mouse down and to the left while firing more rapid shots.

I would go with the M4A1 over the Ak-47 but it all depends on the player.

M4 probably is better for people who like accuracy and ak probably for power players.

I love them both and change off frequently.

The AK's spread is just under 50% less than the M4's, you can go see for yourself. And when you are spraying, spread is the only thing that matters.

I personally use Ak. I like M4 too, its really a good rifle and its easy to be good with it (kinda became standard rifle in Crossfire) but Ak, like a someone said before has more potential. M4 is 4 bullets to kill someone on larger distances while Ak is always 3 bullets unless BP. And sometimes not always when dude HS me with M4 on great distances (over 90 meters) he deals 98,99 dmg without bulletproof helmet. But both are great rifles to play with and you won't make a mistake by buying either of them.

I'd say, **** all the complicated talks and sh*ts people are talking about here, bro, let's just get straight to the main problem, if you're a newcomer, and not used to the movements and things in Crossfire, I'd recommend you M4A1, since it's versatile, but very good for many uses, like noob spraying, or can perform advanced techniques like tapping, bursting very well.
The AK47 you can get it later, when you're better at the game, and have good accuracy, if you're good at tapping, you can get straight 3 shots with AK47 with more accuracy than bursting at a long distance, don't burst with AK47 too much, only burst when you're not sure where to shoot on the enemies, or they're moving fast, and yeah, you may find AK47's heavy weight helps you to get some more accuracy shots, since you won't move as fast like you're wielding an M4A1.
These are experiences through 3 years of CF-ing, honestly hope it helps, bro.

AK47 definitely. I used to use m4 a lot but then i started using my ak and have been a lot better since. The easy spray pattern more than makes up for its recoil.

If you are no good at one tapping then buy the M4,
If you are good at one tapping/have good recoil control skills then buy the ak

This sums things up. AK harder to use, but a better gun once you've figured it out.

Both the AK and M4 are great guns, however, I prefer the AK just cause the spray always gives me random headshots.
