Die when you walk into a wall
So you all know about the client error crap.
Some time ago we had a lot of players that jumped into the boxes and shooted your from inside of them while you couldn't shot them back.
To fix this the developers invented the client error, now every time you try to go into a box you get kicked out of the room.
Well that's pretty annoying.
Why don't you guys change it so you just die when you walk into the wall? That's annoying too but better then getting kicked.

Cheats. Bypassing kick votes was also an ability given to players using cheats not too long ago.
You talk like the cheat is already done and just waiting for all the cheaters to use.
I'm pretty sure it will take some time to figure out how to do that. -

Not just this, but if you anyone remembers, the crew that deals with patching hacks can be slow too; So it might take some time.
OT: Would be good, but as clearly stated, there has been hacks that allow people to not take the damage when inside a wall. It would however be nice if someone can think of a new way to be able to play without getting errors, but until then, what we have now is the best way.

Your logic: xtrap is wasting their time patching hacks and should just let the game grow hack infested instead of making it better. -
Kicks?
First of all BadMonkey666 when you get a client error... its isn't refereed to as a kick... And aR is right. And bypassing a client error isn't possible. Once you get kicked, or a client, then you are automatically disconnected. Its like a surprise attack, and hackers can't control it because they can't code it, due to different codes each time. Client errors are way better in preventing hacks.
We have client errors because the boxes aren't solid... correction, they aren't made solid. Z8 is very busy, and coding games to have boxes solid is extremely time consuming and hard.
So in the long run, client errors are better for the whole picture. Just gotta deal with it. -

Why again is it good for us to get kicked even if we don't do anything wrong? And if it's really that good, why don't other games have it?
I never saw a single hacker in UT3 (2007) or Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (2008) and they don't have this client error too.
I'm asking you again, why is the client error good for us? -
The client errors are there for a reason, and they have done their job well from what I can see.
Yes, they are a bit sensitive, its all part of the tweaking process. However they won't be removed any time soon.
It can be annoying but it will be something we have to live with regardless. We know its an issue.
