Hit start - game stops loading

I double click my crossfire icon, the menu opens where i can hit start/register .... I Click start, the patcher pops up for half a second then instantly closes. This happened to me about a week ago randomly. I uninstalled everything, downloaded the game again, patched and it was working fine.

Today just after finishing this new patch it is happening again. Playing this version of cf since CBT on the SAME computer/software, and never experienced this issue.

I don't mind re-installing to fix this issue but if this is going to be a on-going thing it could be annoying. anyone have solutions?
