I'm having this same problem, I had to redownload becuase it said I cahnged files or something. Even my computer thinks I hack! xD LOL. Yea, but now I get this popping up, I don't know either.

Ive reinstalled many times. Nothing. Im still getting this problem, a day after the patch was released.

Im still getting this problem, and I have just reinstalled and uninstalled about 3 times just right now. Still saying "Failed to download version.ini"

I sent in a support ticket, but I would like to know soon. Really soon. Cause I have yet to play the new map.

I cant even get to the patching part of it. I hit start game, and it comes up saying this. Please say something useful. Im really mad that I cant play, which this is what I play all the time, my favorite game.

My friend was getting the error yesterday when he installed for the first time.
I played for almost an hour today with no problems.
Suddenly I'm getting the error too.
After I click start game the box goes away, and about five minutes later I get the error.

ya me and one my clan mates is getting the same problem worked fine couple hours ago now i cant get on at all...

along with the fail of not being able to plant the fkin bomb or defuse the fkin thing
