Quick question Ive been wondering even though Im pretty sure I know the answer.

Do desertions count as games on your profile?

Yes, they count as a loss in modes that they would have counted if you had stayed until the end.

corkin did give you a very straightforward answer.

Desertions are counted as lost games (but not for the following modes: FFA, ZM, MM, HM, or HMX [desertions are not integrated into these modes]).

EDIT:

Desertions do count for leaving FFA, ZM, MM, HM, and HMX games. Leaving these games do not result in losses, but do result in desertions.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that desertions count towards the "Cross Fire Is My Life" ribbon. Basically, someone could join 5,000 games (where desertions are counted), leave them all, and get the 'CFIML' ribbon.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

No, I'm pretty sure that you are correct, considering you desert out of game where desertions count for the ribbon.

I believe FFA games count toward the overall number of games played but not as a win or loss. That is why wins+losses does not equals total games played.

Wrong sir, You still get Desertion in FFA and HM stuff & a lose ( Just a lose, not counted as a lose for that mode )

Remember the flash grenade bug that made everyone D/C? I got a lot of desertions (counted as a loss) from that in HM. There was a HM event going on at that time too and people just toss those nades just to make people crash... fun times.

Ah, you're right. I just tested this, and I did get desertions, but not losses. Thanks for clearing that up.

They do count for the ribbon.
I mass deserted 800 times to get the ribbon a long time ago.

Rage Quits..
Counts as a lose when you leave a game even tho it didnt get kicked or the game wasnt finished.

If you get 1 death or 1 kill will count as played game.
If u just join and then quit imeddiatley it will not count.
And i think i tested so....
