Jumping

My crouch is CTRL right and my junmp is SHFT right

I struggle to crouch jump should I cahnge my settings

any hints help advice please....

lol i had same problem.. and im on a laptop so the ctrl button alone was near impossible to push while holding W,A,S or D.. so i bought a 5 button mouse (has a back/foreword button on the side) and i used the 2 extra side buttons for crouch and slow walk:) very easy to push cuz there right by my thumb

chang it 2 left ctrl and left shift lol

unless ofcoarse ur using the arrow keys instead of w,a,s,d

Im using arrow keys

Im on laptop too but I have now got walk on my mouse side button and am gona try to put
jump on the mouse 2nd side button and see how it goes

I use the space key for my jump button. Shift is walk, and control is croutch.

Pretty easy, that way.

Im guessing your using was and not the arrow keys like me though?

Also I sit on the settee with my mouse on the settee arm and my keyboard on my lap and my laptop balanced on a stool

Must get a proper desk set up LOL

i use q to jump
caps lock to crouch and shift to walk

i may change my settings to shift for crouch and ctrl to walk because i use crouch more than shift and it would put less strain on my pinky :P

if u have problems, the change it.. i find what works best for me, (and has worked for me for 15 years in fps) is this.

arrows for movement. right control for crouch, right shift for walk.
left mouse primary fire, right mouse secondary fire, middle mouse jump. scroll wheel weapon switch.......... i also have HUGE hands and can hit ctrl shift enter \ ] [ ' ; / . , all with my pinky with out taking middle ring and index fingers off of the arrow keys. ,, coupled with my 8 button mouse i pretty much got 19 keys that can be hit with out ever moving off the arrow keys.

My left pinky paw is my reload on the aplication key

i found the basic settings perfect and fits most other games im used to but change the jump button you can easily reach (im constantly bouncing around)
