Equalizer settings for GM

hey I was wondering how everyone has there equalizer settings set up. I have my envirement set to living room and the 500 slot pulled all the way up but im not sure what i should set the rest of them up like.

not using an EQ is the easiest way... I dont need to use it so I dont even bother trying to figure out how to do it lol. All you need is a decent sound card and decent pair of headphones.

make it look like the levels inside the red box or just fool around with it for your own best results..

umm your equalizer is part of your sound card settings. you should really get computer literate

and ocean mine looked kinda like that at one point. i just did a fresh install and im trying to figure out how to reconfigure them to what i had them at cause what i had them at was perfect for me lol

you should be able to find the EQ settings.. in your graphic card settings (it should be by your clock)..

if you did a fresh install, like a windows installation, then make sure you install the appropriate drivers and software for the soundcard.. either from the disc that came with the computer or at the sound cards manfacturer's website..

oh and most peoples eq's are in there sound card settings not from the little speaker u find next to ur clock but on other software that was installed with your soundcard driver

also 90% of the time thats not where u find ur eq settings so try again please

i obviously meant to say sound card settings.. and not graphic card settings... especially since i mentioned sound card in the next sentence..

there is no reason to be mean.. i was obviously trying to help you by posting a screen shot and providing a explanation..

and yeh my sound card settings can be found by my clock.. sry if that feature isnt available to you...

Standard stock settings that most computers come with. That's all I ever really need.

I like being able to go to any computer and still being able to have the same effectiveness. Not all computers come with the ability to modify and EQ anyways.

Instead of insulting people like a 10 year old child why dont you actually read in to what I meant?

Clearly what I meant was that you dont need to CHANGE anything if you have a decent sound card and headphones.

I play on 2 separate comps that have different makes of sound card but both are decent and I need not change any settings.

I'm using a $25 headset without changing any sound settings on the standard sound card that came with the motherboard (I think?)

Yet I'm still considered a very good GMer on GR side, even by those that don't like me.

I mess around with my EQ, but it doesn't change things all that much.

Do what I do, and find what's best for you by yourself.
