    I did everything stated that the link takes you to.
    I started having this issue after the "mini" update on 7/12/12.
    I have uninstalled the game, I disabled anti virus real time protection, I re-downloaded the game installer (which by the way failed to initialize) I resorted back to the original install file I downloaded a couple months ago.
    I restarted my computer, installed the original game from 2 months ago, went through the entire update process and of course had the same issue again.
    I do not hack at all, never even attempted it even though I have been booted from the server on a couple occasions when I got pushed against a wall. Go figure.
    If I am unable to get this resolved soon then I will be forced to go to another game source.

    Oh? this has recently been happening to a lot of people. I got this awhile back but doesn't happen to me anymore. What I would do is.... check if crossfire is up (of course) then if you tried redownloading the game, RESTART your computer. Make sure to run crossfire in admin. I am not a computer technician but i tried these steps (for almost all my cf patch/ login problems)
