Well I am happy with my life, I play in my free time or when I am bored, I go to college and keep active but going Gym? Not everyone who plays this game aint got a life or just an 'average' person..
+ Anyways, I can't be making 100K, I just bloody turned 17 .. & 4K Posts?
-
That is irrelevant, I’m aware of that as you can see my original post. As I explained, IF people need love to be happy; hence why money is not equal to happiness. You are disregarding those people which is a terrible assumption that can result in a catastrophic consequence in any case with that logic.
you said money doesnt = happiness yes.
but money can = happiness. -
you said money doesnt = happiness yes.
but money can = happiness.
there is no definition to what makes people happy, so how can you make it equal to something?
here is some logic
h = happy m = money l = love ⇒ = Implies/logic
m⇒h⇒l
but we don't have h⇒m
without having m⇒h⇒l
so you can't have l ⇒ m
you need l ⇒ m for eqaulity
making
money≠happiness

That money will make me happy trust me, it will make me happy for the rest of my life.
Again, not the case for everyone.

fallout51
Yeah I guess it for certain people, I don't actually understand how money can make someone sad?
Lets say if you won the Lottery today, and you couldnt find a women/girlfriend who you trust and you get all paranoid over your money? then fair enough I see how your gonna probs end up been single for the rest of your life..
But if that was me, I wouldnt really care.. But yeah your right fallout51, its how people feel at the end of the day. -
you said money doesnt = happiness yes.
but money can = happiness.money doesnt imply happiness.
Did you even click on the link i posted, or are you just going to ignorantly post? honestly trying to teach you something here. i don't believe you understand logic...did you even take a math class above algebra? for something to equal you have to prove it first, tried my best to dumb it down for you -
I don't think it's so much about not playing, but limitations.
Try and only play for a set number of hours a day and then focus all the other time into education, family, and friends.
Just organize your schedule and you should have enough time for educational/business time with that sprinkled in game time.SooperPickle wrote: »I quit for 7 months and got a girlfriend (fiance as of earlier tonight) that wasn't over the internet and is an easy 10/10. Jafrikan is 100% right.

Depending on your definition of "love". -
I understand your point but coming from you forum addict makes absolutely no sense. And it's not like everyone who play video games are not going to get good jobs. I play video games but yet I'm focusing on my future job that is actuary, but unlike you I'm not focused on money. And earning alot of money doesn't mean you like your job. Anyways I don't think you earn 100k, I even doubt you got a job. (You can't enjoy what you don't get).RawrJafrikan wrote: »I've been here for almost 2 years.

i'm successful financially and a nerdy gamer
some people are just above the simple minds who can't do two things and be good at both
Care to disclose your wage or are you going to keep dodging as usual?
Everyone that has been saying stuff about my post count go and learn how to god damn ****ing read.
And for the most part Money does = Happiness.
For me money is the respect i get from others and my ability to achieve the goals I set for myself. Usually that can be measured by wealth. If you get a raise at your job, you are pretty much getting told that the company values you and your assets in some way and USUALLY (while it differs with many jobs) you get a promotion after doing a project well done or a client is pleased with the results of your work.
And let's be honest here. Everyone wants to be rich because it means you open opportunities and lets you do things that other people will never be able to do.
Are you a computer wiz guy that loves doing it? Well, imagine if you had a theater in your room and a room with the best surround system along with multiple huge monitors? Imagine if you could do it in 5 nations accross the world? None of you can do these things without money. And that's a truth. -

Check your PM box in a few minutes, will upload a few pics of my backyard.
Also take into consideration that we have 4 homes, 2 of which are in other countries. -

i'm not just saying you in general, but we know for the majority of people aren't rich, my dad was making close to a million dollars annually owning businesses and managing stocks however he did not like what he was doing so he liquidated all he had and went back to school and got another degree, he doesn't make close to what he was making before but he happy at his job now. i know for a fact he doesn't care about money, i see how much he donates every year, i do his taxes, he even tells me to not use those donations for tax credit because he could care less about a refund. -

Yeah me too but x2 -
Most kids nowadays take everything for granted, a house, car, credit card, etc.
And just cause people play CF, doesn't mean they'll be making 50k a year lol.. That's just a dumb assumption.
Everybody enjoys different things and you can't just judge them cause of that. (CF is mostly played by kids in their early teens just trying to have fun).
You're right about being wealthy tho, you can do lots of things others wouldn't be able to do.
It all comes down to setting your own goals and reaching them, always looking forward to be better. -

No. You're in for a rude awakening when you move out of your parents house.
It's been a month? o_O -

Oh really?
Try getting a masters then first job as a broker on wallstreet or realter in certain parts of the country. -
Unless you come from rich parents/family, how are you going to get that masters?
Well, duh...
To get the masters degree, you just have to make sure that all your monkeys are off the trampoline to make sure that their apples come out right. Because, you know, the apples and oranges need to be roundish, sort of, not like monkey-shaped like it does from a crane. Oh yeah, and you might need a sort of food stamp program to assist you with removing items like that, because if you don't, the cable might come lose, which will make the skylight fall because when its cold it snows, just like Jack Frost in The Three Stooges. Because the snowfall will cause a sort of chemical bonding between both the pineapples and monkeys, and with that bonding will come the fusing of the two sensations, one of pain and one of true brooding apples that come with, you know, one of those stickers on the apple. Because when you make sure that the stickers are in correct order, you can obtain the UNSOPE card, and you can post it on your Facebook and follow some people with it, because you have the UNSOPE from the monkeys. And once you have the monkeys with the UNSOPE and the skylight snow, make sure to collect the fine grain snow, you can put it into a snowgrinder and it will make your masters degree at a very low cost, because you know I've been kind of watching JackValeFilms and videos of him talking nonsense, so in the end the stickers don't matter as much as the monkey livers do. -

Fafsa is pretty generous to low income people.
Also, scholarship.
I would recommend strongly considering private schools. They tend to give money away to poor people. -
Plays the game. Moderates the game.
Top of Graduating Class; currently in line for the Governor General award for best marks.
Scholarship(s) to McMaster (essentially one of Canada's best scientific research schools), still deciding on pre-med program, or simple bio-chemistry.
Offers to 6-year Pharmacy program at the University of Waterloo, CAP; Conditional Acceptance Program. No scholarship, but reduced 2 years on undergrad.
Early acceptance to University of Windsor, University of Western Ontario, and numerous other smaller universities with cash incentives.

i'm talking about a university, high school is great and all but unless your high school is an ib program, being top of your class doesn't mean much to ivy leagues. -

Ivy leagues don't matter to Canadians.
The beauty of Canada is that going to an ivy league university doesn't mean jack____.
The goal here isn't Yale or Harvard. It's not a matter of where you go (for a relatively smart person meaning above a 93% average), but how much will be covered by the university.
