Dafuq did my thread go?

I made a thread here about 20 min ago. Saw it in the thread list. Went to check email, came back, refreshed page, thread just... gone. Following the url from my history results in a 404. There's no "Moved" or "deleted" placeholder, the thread simply does not exist. Now I'm positive I hit submit and not preview, I remember seeing the view counter on it.

I'm pretty sure the thread wasn't against any rules - if it was, whoever removed it didn't send me anything. I've been poking around the forums and my PMs for 20 minutes (longer now), looking for the little lost post.

Can anyone help me find it? It is shy and answers to the title of "True image is true". It is a fairly short post, consisting of two sentences and a picture. I'm offering a reward for its safe return. Please, the thread means so much to me - he's been my only friend for years. Call me with any info: 555-7361. Thank you.
