Starting CF

I click the cf icon, then the launcher pops up and i click start.

Nothing happened after that.

I have tried restarting my computer, shutting down my computer, delete my anti virus system.

...the xtrap thing would not pop up.

I get the same thing. It only started happening recently. I get to the CF window and press start, and then I see the patcher appear for a little and leave like it usually does, and then nothing. No HGW or X-Trap.

My Computer was running it just fine earlier last month, but I haven't been able to play because the game watcher just won't launch.

Try running the patcher_cf.exe file on C:/Program Files/Z8Games/Crossfire

Try deleting your X-Trap folder. The directory is above this post

I tried both things but nothing worked. I left Windows Task Manager open to see what was going on. I see the patcher run and then close, but after that, the hgw process doesn't start. It's as if the program doesn't exist. The same thing happens on multiple tries. I open the Launcher, click start, I see the patcher run in the processes list, and then nothing.
