no i didn't share with anyone,
even worse, Support said to me that someone knowed me first password and Paypal information... I can't believe how can someone knows my personal information...
  • Downloading third party programs and the like without checking up on them can result in your information being stolen. Using cheats from certain sites also does this. In which case you well deserved that.

If someone knows your paypal information. I'd advise you to change your information straight away from another, possibly clean, computer.

Or even worse. You've got a big mouth and told one (or perhaps a couple) of your friends.

Eitherway, enjoy life. It definately has better graphics.
  • I'm sorry bro. That really must suck. Make sure to change your paypal account info IMMEDIATELY!
  • Maybe u got new pc and IP changed or smth... Support got confused perhaps.
Dont quit before u solve it.... but with support it can take AWHILE.
  • How does one get banned for account sharing anyway? Is that even remotely possible?

I mean I have my account for 3 years now. I went to Portugal and played there on my own account but on my friends PC, so why isn't my account banned then? (if that's even possible, doubt it).

I doubt your account was banned for account sharing to be honest. Sorry if I'm wrong.

Hahaha yes it does and I agree with you. Maybe catchign the account constantly getting played on multiple IP's?
  • Were you flagged for account sharing? Happened to me before...
  • I feel your sorrow.. I to lost something deer to me. His name was Dexter. He was killed.

    EDIT:

    Or should I say... murdered..

I'm pretty sure one of the big things that is looked at is the constant change. For instance, if a player plays from America in the morning, but then a couple of hours later plays from Europe, and goes back and forth every few days, it looks really fishy [nobody does that].

And then apparently somebody knew his log in information and such [look at OP], so that is another fishy thing.

Account sharing doesn't necessarily limit itself to just logging in once and laughing because of your naughtiness [is this even a word?]. It takes more than that.

My obssessive compulsive disorder gets instantly activated whenever i hear stories like this. D=

Anyways, if you didn't share it just prove it, change your paypal information NOW!!. And you definitely should enjoy life with or without CF man.
  • So all the Account sharing between kids in a clan can get them ban. I know afew that do this all the time. But its just playing on each others account, not hacking the account. So I guess they need to stop it?

If this is the case than it is completely reasonable because I use my account in my friend's computer but it doesn't get banned.
  • Eh, i got key logged before so i do feel kinda bad for you, if that's what happened to you.

Fair enough. Is it possible for you guys to see where the account was being played from? (If I'm right mine should be NL only, then somewhere in 2010 PT (for a day), and NL again after that).

One main reason why you shouldn't share your account is in case your account does get compromised, they can see the log. If you lost your account to some foreign IP, they can see the irregularities easier that way, correct?

I believe Blizzard does something along those lines.

Whilst providing support for lost accounts or stolen accounts for World of Warcraft and the like. If the support guy notices that you've been playing from an NA IP all this time then suddenly it's an IP from the other side of the world. You practically get your account back straight away.

    Also, nice 666.
