Myths Concerning Earning GP
Recently I've heard many theories concerning how GP is earned in the game.
Could somebody please confirm the validity of what I've heard so far?
1. At the end of each game, you earn enough GP to cover the costs of weapon repair plus a small bonus.
2. By breaking your weapons, you gain more GP at the end of every game to compensate repair costs.
3. Contrasting #2, GP is gained based on skill and score, not how much you break your weapons each game.
Also,
1. Which mode and map gives the most GP?
2. Does the repair bar indicate how much GP I've earned through breaking the weapon?
Thanks!

You gain GP for every damage you deal. Your weapon get's damaged for every damage it deals. The small bonus you are talking about is a fixed percentage you earn when breaking your weapons. You cannot break your weapons without dealing damage.
And finally:
If there are events for bonus GP then you get them directly so that your repair costs won't increase. That means if the small bonus is like 20% then an event bonus of 10% would mean a raise of GP of 50%. That's all I know.
@DnB
A decent ghost mode player earns more GP in his mode than a decent HM player in hero mode. -

Yeah, but most of the GP he earns goes into repairing, and HM doesn't brake your weapon at all, so HM is better if you repair your weapons. -

1. True
2.you win the same GP ammount, you just don't waste it repairing the gun
3.I think that is false
1.Hero Mode; i think all the maps are the same...
2. Yes, it is ammout of GP you SAVED for not repairing the gunYou gain GP for every damage you deal. Your weapon get's damaged for every damage it deals. Sorry to tell you but that is not correct.
The GP you win is based on the ammount of time you are using the gun (or someone else's gun, if you use someone's primary gun it will break your primary gun), yes, you get more GP if you do damage but you don't need to damage anyone to get more GP.
Have you ever tried GP Farm? SnD 13 rounds, you and some friends wasting all the bullets of your guns, playing 25 rounds (12-13). It wiil give you around 1000GP per game.@DnB

Yes but you have to repair the gun...
In this game i've always cared more about GP than KD or EXP so i've spent a lot of time trying to get GP so i have reasons to believe i'm right but correct if i'm wrong please ^.^ -

It's the amount of time in game with the weapon slot active (it seems), no matter who's gun you happen to have acquired (although pretty sure badge's only count with your own gun, but that's off topic).
playing any game for a long time nets you the most GP, but doing damage definitely aids the amount you're given (due to the gun being 'more broken'). -
GP gain is based on time.
For round based games you need to fire at least 1 bullet for it to count that round.
The amount of damage done to a weapon is based on how much time you used its bag, picking up another players gun does nothing to that weapon.
A primary weapon in your bag will increase the GP rate by a lot but also comes with a high damage rate.
A secondary weapon in your bag will increase the GP rate by a little but it also comes with a low damage rate. -

^This.
If you want to know the easiest way to break a weapon, equip the weapon then go into a 1v1 TDM game with a friend. Just stand around for 20 minutes (kill eachother once just to make sure), and at the end of the game you'll probably have gained over 500 gp.
Very useful for breaking temporary weapons that you don't want to use. -
I have a question. what happens if you dont repair your gun ? Common sense says it will disappear or will give less damage etc. something bad. so I do repair my gun after all games. is this wrong ?
and if I use someone else gun, they will earn GP and XP ? seriously ?
why people complaning when others use their gun ?
+ once I was playing against 2 hacker, they killed me all the time and get my gun, shoot me kill me. and told me that he will break my gun...
I left the game but my gun was not damaged at all.( but I quit the game)
so pls someone help me out. -

If it is a perm weapon.
It loses accuracy and gets more recoil.
If it is a Temp weapon.
Nothing intill it is fully broken.
You keep the perm weapon, temp will go away eventually.
Other players can't break your guns.
Weapon breakage is based of how much time you used the bag it is in and were alive with it. Dieing and shooting do nothing to weapon breakage.
People complain because they are egotistical little kids that can't handle the person that most likely killed them using the gun they bought. They are very territorial to their guns :P.
