CF wont open

Ok I open CF as admin then I click on start. The game starts to load...I go past the Xtrap loading thing....I see the CF window appearing on my screen...then it quickly goes away.

I tried to turn off firewall and my antivirus however that didn't help.

Any suggestions please?

Try reinstalling. It helps at the rate of 75%

Ok never mind i am getting the same problem.

Tried reinstalling it....doesn't work

So yeah...suggestions please????

Then you should delete the game completely, redownload the latest version (in the moment 1.088 i think) from the CF page using the download client and then reinstall the game from this package.

If this dosent work ask support, or reset your PC. May this works in worst case.
I hope this can help you if it happens (but I think it wont!)

I have a problem

When cf patcher v5 runs it stucks at 46% of HCWG.exe it says 'failed to copy files needed for the update' and the it closes.
What should I do?

Issue solved.

All programs have to be closed whenever running CF...which I find completely stupid.

It actually happened to me 2-3 times, i tried everything and still then it didn't work. After my 3rd day i re-installed it completely and it finally worked so i would say just wait 2-3 days and try opening it after that you have re-installed CrossFire.
