Weapons Breaking
This has happen to many times now. i win a weapon in a crate and a short time later it is broke , and it has happen to me again. Look at the Type89 I only had it for 2 hours and it is broke that is not possible!!Will you please fix this. I know I am not the only person this has happen to..

If you break a temp weapon. Then it dissapears and you win it again. It stays in the same state that you previously used it.
So if I got a M4 [T] and broke it after 7 days. Then won it again for anthoer 7 days. It would still be broken. -
I only had it for 2 hours. yes I have won it before but that was 6 or 7 weeks ago.
Then if you cant use a weapon again with out repair it whats the good of getting it again?
So it seems it is just another way for Z8 to screw use.
If you speed your money on crates and you win a weapon that is not in your inventory would it not only be right that you can use it with out having to repair it? -
Sometimes the repair bar will appear fully broken if you haven't switched servers/channels after winning the weapon. Try leaving the server and rejoining. If it's a display bug it should be back to normal.
If that doesn't work then yeah, you've won it and broken it in the past. It'll stay broken after it expires and will still be broken when you win it again.

They must have patched it so that you can't break weapons and get GP from them... lol do they really expect people to repair temp weapons? how the hell do they expect us to get GP if they only give you a small amount of GP per round after repairing? ...Oh thats right, they want us to buy ZP to fill their greedy pockets.

Average of 2K GP from not repairing a gun, amazing GP rates in MM/HM/HMX, 500 from daily mission, rank bonuses up to Staff Sarg 4 I believe.
Definitely hard to earn GP. Also, why are you playing this game? Because of the ZP buyers that support this game for you. Z8 employees are human and need money too, and servers, etc. don't pay for themselves. Of course they try to earn money. -
I've got many temp weapons those days and some of them self broke. I am not sure if I had ever once used all of them but I'm definitely sure I didnt break them to full (2500 GP) as they are now. I'm sure I aways left them at about 100 to 500 GP far from breaking as I used to do with perm weps I don't use anymore.
So, if what you guys are saying in here is the official position, it is wrong! As it seems wrong also that you can still break them before logging off, since they only self-destroy when you re-log.
For me it is much more likely to be an unfixed and not announced bug. I would love to see what the staff has to say about this issue. I'd even sent two tickets to support but nothing relevant was said yet. -

Have you ever won a M4A1 Adv in ZP crates and broke it? Next time you win one it will appear brand new, this also happens to me with AK47 Camo and AWM Camo. Have you noticed?
But this does not happen to me with the rest of the normal temp guns like: Type89, SG Camo, Steyr Aug, Anaconda, Anaconda adv, Micro galil scope among others... kinda wierd... -
Its just a way to prevent you from getting some free GP .. Smart btw.
So what is the point of earning a free 7 day FAMAS or Dragunov if they are so terrible and you can't even use them to get some GP instead?
It's like earning a free occupied slot in your inventory. Congratulations! -

So he said it is on purpose because people were abusing of something that is: break weapons, buy new crates, get weapons repaired without a single click in that button.
Well, that is not what happens when you get a new crate TWO YEARS later and the weapon comes at its full use. Then you log off and bang! It is broken! -

If you break a temporary weapon and it expires, it stays in the same condition as it was before. If you break a SG5252-Camo, then it expires and you get it once again. It will still be broken. -

Why would they do that to fix a problem about no need to repair? Yeah, now weapons won't repair themselves when you overlay it with a new one. And I am not sure if I had really broken every weapon I earned recently that self distroyed, but I am sure they were not fully broken as they are now (I used to aways leave them at 100-500 GP left). Besides that, I am sure I broke the effin FAMAS many times before but it aways comes at full use also.
So to say the least, this system is fully broken, as my temp weps.
