Tried the following:
• Delete Crossfire folder, then re-installed.
• Stop Anti-Virus(avast)
and i still get this. -.-

OS: Windows 7 64bit

I have the same OS as you and only sometimes get this, when I get it I just restart my PC and it fixes the problem, do you get this problem when you always run CF?
Also have you tried running CrossFire as Administrator?

since its windows 7, run as admin is default for me.
and yes every time(after i came back from a long break , before i quitted, it was running perfectly)

I think I have solved it....At least it works for me...Try starting the game directly from patcher_cf inside the folder where your game is installed. GOOD LUCK.
