Finals Question
So here it says "The match will be 4v4 however you can have any number of clan mates ready as substitutes within the match. Z8Games will be observing the match." -taken from Saidin's opening post to the MotG2 Results Thread.
On the original "The Ghosts Will Rise Again!" thread, it was stated "The top 2 clans will then meet on the Clan Server to play a one-game playoff to determine the Ghost Mode Tournament winner."
And as far as I know, matches in the clan server don't allow leaving/pausing the match for substitutes.
So how is subbing going to happen if we play in the clan server, Saidin? I'm guessing that we'll play in a different server instead?
And I'm pretty sure that the spectator option isn't available for clan server games. How is this going to work?

Yes this means everyone in the clan can win the Katana prize no matter who plays in the games/final.

Well, from my guessing, you need to play 10 GM games on the Clan Server during the period which is already over.
Also, to win the prize, it's for whoever in the clan qualified. -

For an individual within a clan, they would have need to have played a minimum of 10 GM clan wars.
It doesn't meant they have to have participated the tourny.
Example, within a 50 person clan only 5 did the tourny on a continuous basis and were the only ones to do all 30 games for the clan.
The other 45 would need to do just 10 GM clan wars (doesn't matter if they win/lose). -

lets say someone wants to join (help) DodgeSupport, can they be on their s4?
i asked if new people that joined before the game was played would get the gold katana if they had played 10 games in another clan in march to saidin, but he said no.
I'm thinking that new people will not be allowed to play for either team either if they didn't join until after april started -

I mean what if they get asked to join for exchange of ZP knowing they won't get the katana even if they win.
that was being discussed in a pub yesterday, quite entertaining. -

that would remove any last remaining sense and fairness from this tournament, I'm sure this will not be allowed
ive seen ol and ks around, and they have good gm players for sure. should be a good game -

Subs meaning anyone can participate.
So for example, you have 43 people in your clan. And 4pm on Saturday is the chosen match time.
And then only 3 of 4 people who you originally confirmed show up. You can use anyone in your clan to fill that roll.
The match is still only 4v4 though. -

I will note that since we're dealing with large clans who may have had new members join in April, I'll have to print out a list of people who cannot play.
By me saying anyone can participate it should be implied that these are the people who were here for the March tournament. Not freeloaders looking to win a prize.
For a bunch of people who continually claim that the prize is not a factor, everyone is doing everything in their power to win that prize for as many people in their clan who didn't actually play in this tournament.

If that was at all directed at me or my clan, we not once have claimed the prize was not the factor. The prize is nearly the entire reason OldLegends went into this tournament as seriously as we did; it's what drove us to get first place so far.
