if i reset my KD and play and escape mode (easy to get a good KD ratio) will the kills count towards my KD for 2.0 ribbon

Yeh they probably would count towards the ribbon too.

Kills from Escape M. count on the badge system so I'm nearly 100% sure they would count for the KD too.

Yes kills from Escape Mode will count towards your overall KDR which will be considered for the Clutch Killer ribbon.
