the only way is by editing the .rez files, which is illegal and will result in a ban...
but why does it matter when you've already said you're gonna quit soon...? -
If you have Realtek sound drivers then you'll most likely have a realtek equalizer.
You can somehow adjust sounds to make ghost breath sound slightly louder.
Don't listen to those guys... Natt is right but you can do it without modding your rez files...
Or you can use breakaway kekeke -

I wouldn't risk it...
If you want anything, download it from modhub (there won't be anything illegal). -
Realtek is nowhere near anything risky..
But if you don't have realtek sound, you can't use the realtek audio manager because it usually comes with the sound drivers. You can order a new soundcard and they'll usually have a better audio sound manager than realtek.. Most are better than realtek. -
No..try this
Doesn't matter, all you need is the settings.would if it was English.
You can't really expect him to post his actual settings.CJ had this awhile back.

Pretty sure he says it would be better sound with an x-fi sound card. What he's talking about doesn't all have to do with x-fi. That's the impression I got from it.Yeh, but this is for x-fi sound cards.
Edit: I'm just trying to give the OP a sense of what he could be changing to help him hear breath better. It's all trial and error. Some people play better with equalizers and some don't. You can still mess around with your sound settings, though. -

Yeah well, In some later posts in the same thread (By Vatav if I remember correctly), x-fi and realtek have different coding making their equalizers different and how you adjust them different as well.
It could work, but Vatav has better settings for Realtek that don't necessarily work on x-fi, and I've tried "Ceejay's settings" on x-fi and realtek and found that the sound is totally different.
Crystallizer is amazing btw.............. -
Well, I'm pretty sure I have the crystallizer on for my external x-fi card but I'm not at my house to double check. Like I said, I don't use an equalizer so I'm not very up to speed on how to tune your equalizer settings.Yeah well, In some later posts in the same thread (By Vatav if I remember correctly), x-fi and realtek have different coding making their equalizers different and how you adjust them different as well.

Moral of the story: fiddle with your sound settings and see what happens. -
It's not going to do you any good with the new, turn off/on breath Hack now out.
And so many ghost are now using; Fast Knife, Long Knife, Chamm, Fast Hack (this is not speed hack, it makes you move 20% to 40% faster). Most high pings use it. But I am seeing a lot of 100 pings use it now, right Rure........... what hack did I leave out? -
No..

Implying ceejay's sound settings have anything to do with his GM "skill". :rolleyes:Yeh, but this is for x-fi sound cards.
inb4 ceejay.
OT: I recommend if you're using realtek, to set the environment to Living Room and the Equalizer on Powerful. -
I refrained from saying anything :rolleyes:SooperPickle wrote: »Implying ceejay's sound settings have anything to do with his GM "skill".

Realtek is the onboard sound card most pc motherboards have on as default.
If you go buy a Dell, for instance, it will have Realtek sound card built in.
Realtek manager is the equalizer or something like that.
Ghost breath is a very low base sound. So turn up base or low frequencies in the sound card equalizer will help.
The better the sound card the better you can hear the low base. If you turn down the higher frequencies in the equalizer it should lower the radio voices.
Each sound card should has its own software equalizer. Find out the brand and model and download it from their compay website. -

No environment >equalizer preset :treble -
I rarely use the equalizer but I do love the crystalizer and bass boost for music. The sound card also fixed my mic, friends couldn't hear me at all until now.Well, I'm pretty sure I have the crystallizer on for my external x-fi card but I'm not at my house to double check.
