Do you delete old user accounts?

When Cross Fire first came out years ago, I made an account with the name stonedboss. All of my emails were said to never be registered when I tried retrieving my account today. I want to know if you delete old accounts with a year of inactivity, and someone else just took my name stonedboss. If not and the account still exists I'd appreciate any help in retrieving it, or at the least retrieve my name stonedboss for in game use.
