Crossfire in windowed mode

I used to play it windowed with vista all the time. Ever since I got windows 7 I can't play it windowed with the same technique

Does anyone know how?

same problem
after orbital station patch, windows 7 has trouble configuring to cf's size and whatnot, and will freeze in loading.

That sucks

I would play cf a lot more if I could in windowed mode..

I'm used to how everything moves in fullscreen though. I used to think the same as you, but have no idea why.

Well the thing when its windowed I can cam chat and cf at the same time

I have Windows 7 and have CF on windowed mode with no issues. What do you mean by not being able to play CF "with the same technique?"

How did you do it?

What I did with vista was alt tab, then right click the desktop and go to graphic properties then change the resolution to full and then cf will be windowed both in game and out. However when I try that with windows 7 it doesn't work

So you're saying that you used to be able to play with CF only taking up a portion of your screen while in the lobby and while being in-game?

If so, CF only takes up a portion of the screen when I'm in the lobby, but then goes fullscreen when I'm in-game. I was thinking you may have had some other problem(s).

Is that the patch that stops the bar quarter way, black screen, then continue loading? I hate that -,-
