Flash Glitch

So I searched this issue and saw not obvious threads about it, I hope I didn't just miss it.

When playing, if I were to get flashed, towards the end of the flash, my game will basically freeze. My player is not able to move, and all of the sound comes back at once. I had heard this had something to do with my graphics card.

Any easy solutions?
