It's basically a pistol that doubles as a shotgun at close range. Mwahahaha
It is a bit weak and pretty inaccurate at long range, so that sort of makes up for it's OP'ness

Why does NO ONE BESIDES ME realize that the Mauser is technically better single-firing?! -
Well, yeah at any range beyond, like, 10ft. But it transitions so easily that when you're close you might as well let em have the 3burst. I have to reload every two seconds when I have it on burst. Literally, when I have it on, the enemy is always at the wrong range O.o -

But when I use it, when I turn a corner, I mauser them like crazy then switch to my primary

Still don't like the sense of no control over the ammo/reload. I prefer the single fire, where I personally find it easier to aim and watch my ammo. -

I usually keep it set to reg fire and change it quickly as I get closer to an unsuspecting victim. If I'm walking around a corner where anyone I might see will def be close, I have the trip burst on. Pulling the crosshair down to their feet quickly helps focus the shots more too. The tripburst can be used somewhat at close(ish) medium range.
But I know what you mean. Sometimes you forget it's set on 3burst and it fails on you and you get smoked while it slowly reloads. There should be some indicator that let's you know what setting it's on at all times, rather then it just saying it in annoying distracting text across your screen when you switch. -

yea I hate when triple fire is off. I ran into 3 GR players w/o triple burst. GG =.= -

This^^, but in clan wars, when I know that there are one or two left and they are hurt, I change it to burst mode.
