So I'm starting a new gaming community site that will have a crossfire team.

I would like to know where I can get the php script to auto post new scores from clan matches.

What site did you see that information on? I'd ask the developers of that site. Otherwise, writing it yourself shouldn't be too bad. Might be easiest to run JavaScript cron jobs to get the data.

I haven't seen it a site so far. I was just hoping it could be done. Can you elaborate on the JavaScript cron jobs a bit please. This term is new to me

I'm just guessing here. I'm too lazy to go look. I assume that the information is displayed on the clan page via ajax. You could find the code that does that and run it on your server for every interesting clan once a day. In this case I mean cron to mean run a script in regular intervals. This would require some db storage, a list of all clans which may or may not be easy to obtain, and some processing power. But, I think that processing power is low enough that it free sources could handle it.

So if I had a script that created a DB I could find another Forum script that would allow me to allocate users from the DB I created so when they "login" on the main page they're still loged in when they access the Forums page?

http://z8games.com is a perfect example of what I mean. You log in at the top, you have your account page, then when you click forums you are still loged in.

I don't see how this is related to previous discussion, but what you are describing is possible and fairly common. The easiest way (probably depending on other things) is to use the site's login table as the forum's login table.

LOL! Thats what I just asked. And the whole time it was about the same thing, people just misunderstood and got off topic.

Please elaborate. Neither of these technologies prohibits you from gathering the information you need to calculate clan wins/losses.
