Hey, im looking for a good gaming desktop that I can buy for about $500-$800 USD. Can anyone give me some links that I can look at. Anything helps.

Get a i5 2400 build with a 6870, 8GB RAM, 500gb hard drive, 600w PSU and a HAF 912 case. That should be about $750.

Unless you want to wait for the new Ivy Bridge processors to come out on April 29th and the Nvidia cards to come out in May.

Get a refurbished Dell, Gateway or Lenovo, put in some ram and a decent graphic card. Under 800 bucks easily and you still get customer support and warranty from Dell, Gateway or Lenovo.

I bought my HP phenom II x6 refurbished for 450 bucks, adding 16gb corsair ram for 80, nvidia 560ti for 200, 750w power supply unit for 35 bucks. Done.

Not a single problem so far except the nvidia 560ti fan is loud.

If you buy windows7 separately, it cost 200 dollars.
