does using knife as BL for Ghost Mode make you pro?
What if knife isn't as attractive of a weapon compares to other weapons? What do you guys think? How does one define "pro"? Does Clan ranks really mean anything? When lower rank Ghost kills a Higher rank soldier does that make him hack, and does he deserves to be kick when those two meet in another room and on the same side?
The CF community is getting very mean towards each other.
What happens to just play, enjoy the game, and if you die or lose, "hey congrat to the team or whoever on the kill or win"? Why do people take it so personal when they die do to legitimate kills and make up all kinds of excuse and tries to belittle others?
Some high rankers out there should be taking the role of setting good examples, but are failing at it.
"This mountain is high, but somewhere out there, there's another mountain that's higher", if you think you are good, well there's always someone out there who's better. If you can't accept this fact then you are very narrow minded. You need to take a step back and observe again. It's a big world and full of possibilities.
None of us real gamers like hackers, but that doesn't give us the right to bunch the good players together with the hackers. It is not that difficult to tell them a part. There are many ways one could verify if a person is legit or not. Check their rank and profile before or after game. Go to the z8games page and look up the player. Check see when did they start their account. If they have been playing for a while and their KDR for certain game mode is high, don't expect it will be easy to kill them nor hard for them to kill you assuming you are less experience. I would assume that if one has been playing for years and with many kills and fewer deaths, that they wouldn't need to hack. And if they are hackers, wouldn't they be banned already long before they get that many kills. Regarding to banning, there's a ribbon out there call - Honorable Soldier [You have never been banned in-game for any reason (this includes bans for account investigations as well)].
There are only so many maps and if you have been playing for years, you would have played those maps thousands of times and seen many scenarios to where it becomes almost instinctive to do what needs to be done at a certain moment.
There are also many other factors that one could take into consideration before even accusing of someone being a hacker, but to list them all out would be time consuming and confusing because it is dependent on the situation. And further more, there's a luck factor involve, which can throw everything out the window lol. What I am trying to convey here is that have confidence in yourself, the game, and other players. The next time you think someone hack and you dont have concrete evidence, do what is right and save the replay watch it and report. I am pretty sure you can mention a player you think of being hack one or two times and someone will keep an eye out, so you dont have to waste your time QQ, cursing or stressing yourself out.
There are many individuals in these clans who can owned me like i was just starting to play yesterday: Stalkers, Panthers, FOE, Crystal Orders...come to think of it, there are a bunch more, but these are the ones that i run into the most.
These guys are hardcore!
Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts! I doubt many will finish all this lol...I was going off topic
x_y_z, what does that mean? when i create the account nothing comes to mine but the xyz coordinate system lol so ... haha i'm a nerd.
D_G, what does that mean? It used to mean damn good, but now probably dead guy lol.

It is Crossfire, that's what:p
And yes more people need to just play and simply st.fu if that don't have the sportsmanship to say "well played" or think it, or at the very minimum at least acknowledge their failure and play better and wiser next time. -

couldn't agree more with you. -
The reason why i made this post was, some dude was harassing me for using shovel lol. Well not just this one but many others lol. Name calling and after I killed him a few times RQ and whisper me saying all kinds of things and he was a major lol. Saying how he's pro because he used knife
as a ghost and I used a shovel therefore i'm a nub. -
People do judge Pro players and hackers based on the ranks.
If a low ranked player has 10-0, he is a hacker for sure whereas if
a high ranked player has 10-0 w/ hacks then he is pro.
This goes on a lot in CF. :S
Yes i agree that's not the right way to judge. My point here is not to judge so easily based on scores alone or anything alone. Because besides from hack, a good score could be interpreted in other ways, like "ok, he's a more seasoned player than myself", "he's more experienced", "it must be his good day", "i need to improve". People often look at the score one sided and it's always negative. It's always about hack. Whatever happens it is always the other person that's in the wrong. I have people say i lag and when i look at their ping they are jumping from low 80 to 400 constantly, and yet still when they die it's me that lag. It's like when i kill them or having them kill me it's me that hack lol. People really needs to take a step back and put the pieces together and see the bigger picture. Some even goes as far as, "I can't hear him, he hacks" while they are spraying a freaking machine gun. The people i mentioned here are not new to the game. These guys started out 3 years ago atleast, they are atleast capt. and in one of the top 10 clans.
quick question: How do I post pictures in the message? -

I thought of that too. But you have to keep thinking positive. Hopefully enough people that read posts like this could influence a positive change in the game. We need more positive thinkers in the game. Too much negativity due to hacks. A balance is required. -
i guess i am very narrow minded.
as for title; dominating with the knife makes you pro. using it just shows you got class/mercy/respect
There's many way of looking at it. Showing mercy to your enemy in game or reality is a fatal one either way. I think it's disrespectful towards other player if you are trying to give them a handy cap. Is that what you would call fair? Personally I dont think it's fair, because you are disabling them from fully learning the game and to better themselves. You are belittling them by using knife, because you do not think that they are good enough to carry themselves. If you put in those words then the knife users are full of themselves.
I like to think of it this way, this is a game, it's made for enjoyment, so using whatever you want within the legal boundaries of the game is reasonable. After all those weapons are made for the game by the game producer. Let's take the pro out of the picture for a minute. The term pro is very subjective. Each and everyone of us have different opinion regarding the term, but is it right to call others noobs or any less of a player if that person uses any other weapon? Is it right to treat a person who chooses to use other weapon as if he was hacking, by belittling and unjust treatments?
Have you ever heard "One mind any weapon"? The weapon is not the deciding factor in determining whether someone is pro or not, it has to do more with the way a player is being able to adapt to the game environment and come out victorious. Even in failure still be able to hold their head for they have tried their best but they have meet someone better. Personally, I think it is the mentality, strategy and adaptability that makes a player "pro" rather than the weapon.
I'm not here to try to convince anyone that my way of thinking is correct nor am I trying tell anyone that their way of thinking is wrong. What I am trying to do here is to share another point of view on the matter and to try to show you that to impose your thoughts or belittle someone else is not the proper course of action just because you and I have different opinion. -

I do apologize for any misleading. I do not intend to do so, but as I create the post, I did trail off track to other topics but never the less I think it is fairly important concepts regarding some issues in game that needs to be address. I am greatly appreciate all of your thoughts and inputs. -
Many high ranks didn't get to a high rank from GM but from TDM and SND instead.
Since GM has been the top mission this month, a lot of non-GMers are flooding in.
These players may have done well in other modes but GM requires a different skill set then most players have, so when they play they get beaten pretty easily by those who have the skill set. Since these players do well in other modes they assume they should do well in GM to, and since 90% of the player base barely know the basics of GM, they usually do intill someone with skill comes along.
GM is the most hack accusing mode for a few reasons.
1. It is round based. Those who are to impatient to wait when they die usually start kicking people. And since waiting doing nothing for a bit can feel like a punishment, they lash out on those that killed them.
2. Doing well on BL is far harder then on other modes, and a decent BL player can destroy a GR team if they don't know how to play. The skill level needed to compete in GM has a higher entry level then other modes, meaning those new to it die fast and often. Players dieing in 20 seconds and waiting up to 2 minutes every round is a common sight. So these players lash out on those that kill them.
3. GM requires knowledge that many do not have and won't make the effort to learn.
They only know what they see and many ignore sound altogether. Since ghost are only visible well moving, both BL and GR come to the belief that a still ghost is impossible find.
If either made a effort to learn about the mode, they would find out that ghost have breath and it can be tracked. -
Shovel and kukri are for people that are just bad at knifing because a regular axe or in some cases knife does the job just fine.
A lot of good gm players look down upon those OP melee's.
As do I. Had a shovel or maybe even still do lying in my storage for 30 days and havent used it at all in gm. -
we'll who cares what weapon you use! im a high rank and i got 68 perm guns and people are very disrespectfull when you use a gun/melee weapon that they can't afford. i wish people would stop QQ and play the game. IT IS A GAME! HAVE FUN! Stop beating people down.

About the knife belittlement, I wouldn't agree. I personally don't like using my axe in knife SnDs because I find it very OP compared to my knife, so I personally use my knife, not because I think they fail too much to play against me, but because I don't play knife for the kills, but for fun. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that just because a "pro" uses a knife doesn't always mean he's trying to belittle someone.
