Low PC, better weapon?

i used to play like that all the time...i even have the cf record for lowest ever fps.
i used AUG and M16...but its more about skill, and learning situations - e.g. i rarely played in a room bigger than 6v6,learn spots that'll make ur fps crash, and more than anything learn to have fun...
I had 0.1 fps a lot. I win. -

People should not be mean or rude to a person becasue they are less fortunate! Try answering his question!
And they did...they told to get a new computer. You should understand that trying to candy coat the truth isn't going to benefit anyone...he needs a better computer.
CF was made to run smoothly on old computers...his computer FAILS apparently if CF isn't. That therefore means that his computer is OBSOLETE and he should start saving his damn money instead of wasting it on ZP (of he spends it on that) thinking that a magically weapon is going to make the situation better... -
back then when my computer was the epitomy of ass, I did well with m12s, scar light and shovel. Those are great weapons for laggy computers because of their predictable recoil and large range.
but beware, theyre noob weapons and might result in you having a bad reputation. -

Okay bro, i feel your pain cause i had these problem too. I used to have 15 fps, now i have 40-60 on 8v8 matches (i know its not a lot, but it makes a difference).
First thing i would recommend is installing Windows Xp (if you don't have it of course), because it uses less Ram.
Then you should go to control panel, System, Advanced, Performance Settings, Adjust for best performance.
Then go to "Run..." type: msconfig, then go to "Services"tab and disable all the unnecessary services. here is a list of all of them:
"Alerter, Application Management, ClipBook Viewer, Distributed Link Tracking, Distributed Transaction Coordinator, Error Reporting Service, Fast User Switching Compatibility, Indexing Service, IPSEC Service (nothing to do with internet), Logical Disk Manager, Logical Disk Manager Administrative, Machine Debug Manager, Messenger, NetMeeting Remote Desktop Sharing, Network DDE, Net Logon, NetMeeting Remote Desktop Sharing, Performance Logs and Alerts, Remote Desktop Help Session Manager, Remote Registry, Secondary Logon, Server, SSDP Discovery, Task Scheduler, Telnet, Themes, Workstation."
Then go to the crossfire containing folder ("C:\Program Files\Z8Games\CrossFire") and create a new text document inside and type:
@echo off
cd /d "C:\Program Files\Z8Games\CrossFire\CF_G4box.exe"
start /high CF_G4box.exe
Save it as Cfboosted.bat . (if it doesn't let you save it, go to control panel, tools, folder options, View, uncheck "hide extensions for known file types" and try saving it again.) After you save it create a shortcut in the desktop.
And thats pretty much it. As for your weapons question, i would suggest buying an m4a1 or ak47, awm, and a desert eagle.
Hope it helps you. ^^ -

if you have low FPS and low ping - get ready to permanent kick from rooms. Nobody love gamer, who can move as fast teleport...
