Knicks looking good---Eastern Division title?

  • Depends, all though its a good streak atm. Still not good enough I think, they need Melo to score 25, Stat 20, everyone else 10-15. They need to defend like they are recently, with aggression. Still ways to go, if you ask me.
  • Melo can help but it is more team effort if Knicks is going anywhere. All the games they won they won by defending like crazy and passing the ball all around with Lin penetrating from outside the arc.
  • Lin needs to stop passing and actually go for the drive, like he's done during his scoring sensations. He's easily penetrated the defense, could have scored the easy layup, but decides to pass, in which case can go either way, points or the miss. This is something Woodson has got to let Lin do more. He's being too much of a passing point gaurd, when he's been able to do both very well during his rise to star-dom. He needs to take 3-4 more shot selections, still pass the ball, but no clumsy passes anymore. Be smart pass it to whoever has the scoring hand atm.

Melo has been struggling ever so more, since his "groin" injury, which is making me think he lost his "balls". TBH, he's passing very well actually being smart, not hogging the ball alot. All though times he yelled at the ballhandler for not passing him the ball, but he needs to lose that form of thought, and become a team player. Stat has been doing alot better since the break, doing alot better scoring wise.
  • A good team is a team runs like a clock. A person can affect the entire team. Woodson said the bench is deep enough that anyone doesn't help winning will be benched. The D'Antoni resignation scared the hell of everyone, with rumors of trading Melo, so now Melo and Stat are working their butts off defending. lol
  • did u see the game today? i missed but i saw the highlights---beating the Bulls the best NBA team, even just barely, not too shabby today Knicks!!
