Error with x-trap

Try deleting your Xtrap folder then restarting the game.

Pathway to the folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Z8Games\Crossfire\XTrap
The (x86) is for 64-bit OS, just do Program Files is you're not 64-bit.

Also, make sure the Z8Games folder is an exception to your firewall.

You shouldn't have to "lower the version of the site" (I don't understand).

Just delete the folder and restart the game.

Don't exclude just XTrap, do the parent folder of Z8Games instead.

And I'm still confused with you lowering the client?
Do you have screenshots of doing that?

Do you have the latest version of Crossfire? Maybe you need to reinstall it.
