Z8Games is attacking viewers?

The first day godsgunman reported this issue a clanmate told me that there is a virus on her pc and she had to remove it in order to start Crossfire.
Now see here:

My assumption is that everyone who was there before the website was fixed or blocked did get this malware. The only way to notice it is that you cannot run CF. -

First off, thanks for the nice misleading thread title.
It is not in our intention to "attack" viewers of our web page.
About a month ago there was a malicious ad detected from one of our ad outlets and it was removed.
Perhaps this is what google was picking up in its once-in-90-days search.
As for whats happening right now, we have not been able to detect anything from any of our current ads running on what is now very few places on our website. While I certainly don't want to point fingers, I do have to remind everyone to continue to check their computers for viruses or other such adware/malware etc.
We will continue to investigate this matter. -

The interesting part is that no one has reported this but GodsGunman, no offence to GG but it might not be really the site or an ad... -

The title wasn't meant to be misleading, it clearly says "reported attack web page" on the first screenshot, and I thought it was talking about Z8Games, so the title fits the problem perfectly...
How is that misleading?
It doesn't make much sense that it's only happening on these forums, it has never happened on any other website to me. I agree that it could somehow just be my machine, but I don't know why it only happens when I click user cp or back while on the forums.
I'm not demanding for it to be fixed or anything and was just trying to give them a heads up, if that isn't wanted then fine and I'll stop try to help make sure the forums are safe. I'm clearly getting a negative attitude towards me for trying to help. -
The title is suggestive in the sense that Z8Games is willingly attacking its viewers. Which obviously isn't the case. Thus making it somewhat misleading.
Both parties should look into the problem on each others end.
It could be seen that way but only assuming Z8Games has a mind of it's own. It's just a portal so it can't willingly attack viewers. -
Earlier you mentioned that you were posting from a different computer. I assume this does not happen to you from any other computer or browser? What % of the time that you go to User CP does it do this? Also, did you look at the Z8Games cookies after you deleted them and revisited the site to see if there were any extras?

Not sure how firefox works other than the basics.
It's only happened 4 times now I think, and I click user CP dozens of times a day.
Only happens on 1 computer. -
I think it maybe some sort of browser redirect tbh and that is redirecting some traffic to that mentioned site and of course because its listed as dangerous by the firefox database it checks against - you get the message.
None of your pc protection detects anything right? -

None of us do, except him with only that pc... isn't that strange? -

Any idea how to get rid of it without formatting? Would reinstalling firefox do it?
Still doesn't make sense how it only happens on z8games though...
It could be certain keywords that trigger it I suppose, I'm not quite sure but it's similar to the google search redirect that I had a while ago.
The URL is clearly some affiliate trying to make a buck using his advertising id and hijacking browsers to get the visitors, at least that is what I think it is.
If it happens with fixfox only I would say try reinstalling it.
But prior re-installing firefox try HijackThis and check the log for any relevent entries similar to the url you posted and you can delete them all. -

Well, whatever floats your boat. I thought to give the perspective as to why it might seem misleading.
If you feel the site is attacking the website users intentionally (In the sense, the portal was designed to do it purposely). I guess the title you got now is the way to go. -

I'll probably just try re-installing firefox and see how that goes, thanks.Well, whatever floats your boat. I thought to give the perspective as to why it might seem misleading.

-.-
Just read the title of the first screenshot: "Reported attack page!" Meaning google was reporting an attack page to me, which at the time I thought was Z8Games. So it makes perfect sense to call the thread "Z8Games is attacking viewers?", because I was confused as to why Z8Games would be considered an attack page.
And what does an "attack page" sound like? Well to me it sounds like a page that attacks its viewers.
The title is not misleading.
I'm thinking it could be interpreted as if one of the GMs were attacking it's viewers, but:
A) If they simply click on the thread they will instantly understand so I don't see the problem
and
No GM works for Z8Games, so if I was trying to say the staff was attacking it's viewers then "G4Box is attacking viewers?" would have made much more sense.
I know you're just trying to explain why they might have thought it was misleading, however I'm simply saying why that was irrational. -

It still misleading, you could of said malware found on blah blah part of the site or that a random IP that is not Z8Game's gave you a possible site attack.
Which only targeted you, because there haven't been any other thread or a person warning it, but you. I've clicked every page on this site and there's nothing, the site is not the one you clicked somehow...
But then again like Phoenix said, "whatever bloats your boat." -

And I was supposed to know that I was the only one that it was happening to how? I didn't know where the malware was located, I didn't know that it wasn't Z8Game's IP, you're now giving suggestions based on new information. I can't really tell the future when I made the thread, so I had to go with what I was given. -

You should of traced the IP first before calling it all on Z8Games thought.
