Try to run CrossFire as administrator, if that doesn't work then right click the icon, go to properties and choose compatibility with Windows XP (Any service pack) even if you don't have windows xp. If you still have any problems just PM me and i'll try to figure out something.

3GB RAM? What the faq kind of a laptop is that? Who sells 3GB Ram? You can buy 2GB RAM or 4GB RAM and even 8GB RAM sticks but how did they manage to get 3 GB RAM?

You can put like 4 Sticks into the computer (mainboard). You can put 4* 2GB RAM sticks into it or maybe 2* 4GB RAM Sticks or even 4* 8GB Ram sticks.
I have 2 4GB RAM sticks in my computer so I have 8GB RAM.
Now explain me how those idiots managed to get 3GB RAM. Why did you even buy that crap computer?
Anyway your computer is fast enough for crossfire, even if the RAMS is kinda weird.

Well maybe you guys should try to clean your computers.
get CCleaner and scan your computer, then uninstall some of your programs that you don't need. And make a virus scan. superantispyware is a good one, use the freewarem the full version is not good. -
Ever heard of a 2gb stick and a 1gb stick. Last time I checked 1 + 2 = 3. But guess what do I know. Also if his PC runs windows XP. XP doesn't support more then 3.25gb. So having 4 is pointless. You should always use the same kind of RAM. 2GB and 1GB doesn't works good. Also 2GB and 2GB from another publisher won't work good too. You can't put 2GB Kingstone Ram and 2GB ADATA Ram into the same computer, well actually you can but you could damage your RAM and it wouldn't work good.
And who says you can't run 4GB RAM on XP? I had a XP computer with 4GB Ram and it worked great. I also just googled it and I found many entries in forums that say that XP can run 4GB RAM: -
Yes you can run 4 gb's of ram. But Windows XP only uses 3.25. It just closes itself when the loading screen appears, I think it has something to do with Xtrap's update.Crashing how? I need a screenshot there are multiple ways programs can crash. Is it a regular windows program close crash etc.
I also checked another game that uses Xtrap, and the same thing happends there.
