Question to the daily missions

What will happen to our old dogtags? I've been doing the daily and was trying to get this 1 letter for a whole month so I can get the crate. So will the effort be all "effortless" because of this patch? IF so(most likely?), then sucks to be me, guess I shall QQ some more.
