X-Trap Problem

i seem to have a code fail operateing system is curupted xtrap error thats ticking me off srry but i donno how to find those xtrap files if has an .exe i just run it so can ya make out a way to find it and delete it and get it reinstalled ???
ya this crap started with the last xtrap patch update

Right click on your shortcut for Cross Fire and select properties. Click the 'Find Target' button. In the window that opens you will see the xtrap folder.

after i delete the xtrap folder it still comes up with the same error message ..code fail operating system curupted
srry if i didnt say what kind of system im useing ....hp with vista 64 bit ..webroot and advanced system care ...no deamon thingy or virtual drives whatever those are ...

X-Trap Problem

Webroot could possibly affect x-trap files. Some anticheat measures may seem to be a threat to some security programs. Try adding an exception for the entire crossfire folder in webroot. If it still doesn't work:

- Temporarily disable antivirus
- Redownload the game
- Uninstall the game
- Reinstall the game
- Add an exception in webroot for the entire cf folder
- Re-enable antivirus
