Anti-Personel Mines

Maybe make it an temp weapon, but i'd be awesome to have an mine which you can place down anywhere on th map. Since it's anti-personel mine, probably have the same damage as a winde grenade and weight of a C4?

Just a thought because it'd be funny to blow someone up without a C4, maybe even a ribbon, but if it's not going to be ZP temp then it can go as Zombie Mode crates.

Sure why not, we already have mutants and a floating spaceship.

I don't see why an anti-personal mine can't make it into the game.

Anywhere

Anywhere, just like C4, exept you can't plant it in mid-air since it will fall down and explode, or that might be funny to watch, somebody planting a Mine and watching it blow a crater below them...

But I was wondering if we should make mines invisible until you are 5-10 meters away since if an enemy sees a mine, they'll just shoot it...

I would consider it a good idea if CF had better maps.

If this suggestion had been made a year ago, you would be redirected to the "What not to suggest" thread, but hell, if you make it somewhat weak compared to real mines in real life, it shouldn't be so much of a problem, so long as it doesn't affect the physical map. (Long run-on sentence, you mad?)

The idea sounds okay, but I'm pretty sure mines would pretty much destroy GM. 8 GRs plant mines in obvious BL spots such as in a site would be complete overkill for the ghosts.
