Stolen Account

Hello,
So today a guy was looking for an account to buy and I had one that I didn't use anymore, actualy my friend gave it to me because he stopped playing CrossFire, its ign is __-][iStyLe* and he spent over 600€ on this account. The thing is... I spoke with my friend and he agreed in selling the account then I accepted to give this account to the other guy that whispered me for a 100€ psc, then I added him on FaceBook and spoke with him (by voice) via Skype, we already were speaking for around 1 hour and it all occured today at 12 AM server time... none of us wanted to give the information first, so I gave him the ID and PW and he played on the account for a test vs. me... then he gave me half of the psc pin and then I gave him the rest of the account information, like the security question and he seemed to be a guy that I could trust but guess what happened? He quicly changed the registered e-mail, then I tried to use the psc on ZP and it actually was a fake pin and he ended the call and went offline. So yeah, I lost the account and didn't receive any ZP.

I know it is my fault and that I was really dumb.

I just want to know if Z8 could do something about this. I always thought that giving account infromation is our own responsability and I had no hope on receiving my account back but then my friend told me that the same happened to him but Z8 gave him back his account because he sent a support ticket. I also thought about doing a support ticket but then I realized there actualy wasn't a place for trying to get our accounts back so I just created this thread.

btw, I know the new e-mail that he registered his account.

  • You'd want to contact support about this, but seeing as you tried to sell the account, I doubt they'll help you; they may even ban the account.

    Exactly. If your going to sell a account you must do it much more effectively. People you know in the real world for example, are often the best customers. Not that I'd know, selling my account would be my life 0.o

    If you want to attempt to get the acc back though I'd use the link rusher provided you.
  • 1st, Selling/ Trading/ Buying is not allowed in rules
    2nd, Z8 can take your account back if only you are true owner who create the acount, not buy from someone.
    3rd, Send support ticket, no one in forum can help you.
    Off Topic: Sometimes the online friend can't be trusted.
  • you fell for a scam, I've heard about this....a positive is that you probably taught others not to do what you did.

    Sry to hear about what happened and hope you can get it taken care of, perhaps an admin could help if you have ur email and personal data, but only give to them if they seem that they can help u.

    Ownership

These Games and Services are protected by Canadian and international laws, and may contain certain licensed materials in which Z8Games's licensors may enforce their rights in the event of any violation of this Agreement.

    [1.1.2] Account Sharing
    Accounts shall not be shared between people. This includes but may not be limited to such people as friends, relatives, parents, children, spouses, co-workers, clan members etc. It is the responsibility of the account holder to keep all information about the account secure. Z8Games takes no responsibility for an account in which more than one person may know the confidential information of. Accounts involved in sharing instances may require information as listed in [1.1.4] to prove ownership. Z8Games reserves the right to leave the account in its current state or close an account if information can’t be corroborated.

    [1.1.3] Responsibility of Actions
    All actions taken on an account are the responsibility of its owner. This includes but is not limited to, hacking, acting in an excessively negative nature and abusing bugs. Accounts may have action taken against them no matter who was on the account at any given time. If an account was lost due to a scam and subsequently broke the Terms and Conditions, Z8Games takes no responsibility for the actions performed while the account was lost.

    [1.1.5] Buying / Selling of Z8Games property (includes items and accounts)
    Z8Games does not allow the buying or selling of its property (as listed in this agreement). This includes but is not limited to accounts, items contained within accounts or any other virtual property created within its games. Accounts may be suspended or closed if investigated or caught participating in selling or the promotion of account selling or any other solicitation involving account or item buying/selling.



    Bottom line, as you broke the Terms and Conditions, Z8 has no obligation to attempt to help you recover the account.

    1) The account isn't yours.
    2) You're sharing the account with your friend.
    3) You tried to sell an account.

    This is EXACTLY why we don't condone sharing or selling. It is under support staffs discretion with either or not you will get this account back. There is no sympathy from us for these cases.
