Kony People
Talk about uneducated.
And don't dismiss this as a troll, this is legitimate and anyone that says otherwise either disagrees with this view because they are too emotionally attached or seriously lacking nerve cells in the frontal cortex.
All of a sudden people start posting about Kony even though its been happening in Western Africa for the last 30 years. Oh, and not to mention the countless parallels have occured in history, as well as the ones that this country (USA) has created. Don't think the Brits in here, or the Canadians, or any nations tied to the western powers closely or ones of power haven't done this. Maybe the Australians and a few other nations have not but everyone else has done this.
In before TheJafrikan you are just a ignorant ****** who doesn't understand the situation in most of Central and West Africa, and fail to see the political and cultural issues with the crisis at hand. Not to mention that this is a election year, and Europe and the USA are in a financial hole more unstable than a 3 legged chair.
In before (2) TheJafrikan drops knowledge about China in 1850-1945. In before parallels current apathy of International community to that same time period. In before South America. In before Darfur. In before Manchuria WHAT WHAT!

Alot of people couldnt care cause they didnt even know it existed.
Our trash society is full of '' If media dont talk about it, it dosnt exist'' people. -
Yeah, I saw a bunch of people sharing the YouTube link on facebook last night. Like of course it's nothing new, and I was aware of stuff like this was happening in Central Africa (and I'm sure many others did as well), but I didn't know it was some guy named Kony that was the leader of it. Didn't make me want to help them even more than I did already, nor does it make me wanna go to their gathering in Toronto near the end of April.
People are rather just hopping on the band wagon than truly caring about what's going on there, which I find completely ridiculous. -
ofc right now everyone is outraged and says this must be stopped at all costs, but in a few weeks everyone will go on with their lives and forget about this. a miniscule amount of people will actually donate money and try to actually do something but the majority of people will merely share, link, reblog, post about it and hope that it makes things better. thus content that they have done their part they shall continue on with whatever they were doing before. this is not a surprise. it should not be. humans are inherently selfish and it is highly, highly unlikely anything will ever change that. anybody who says other wise is deluded.
so let them have their feel good moment so that they can further delude them selves into thinking how great, generous, and caring humans are. -

Same hereI've had a few arguments on FB about people saying I'm ignorant because I couldn't give two sh1ts about what's going on there. Such hypocrites, they've probably never cared about what happens at Africa until this Kony stuff started going viral.

A deep thought.Duke wrote:There is growing outrage in Uganda over a viral internet film viewed by more than 32 million people in four days that suggests Africa’s longest-running conflict is still raging in the country’s north.
Joseph Kony 2012: growing outrage in Uganda over film
“Suggesting that the answer is more military action is just wrong,” said Javie Ssozi, an influential Ugandan blogger.
“Have they thought of the consequences? Making Kony ‘famous’ could make him stronger. Arguing for more US troops could make him scared, and make him abduct more children, or go on the offensive.”
An update on these thoughts. -
This is like Whitney Houston, before she died no one gave a sh!t about her, and after she died everyone was saying she was an important woman. Now that people talk about Kony people care about what's happening in Africa.
On the Africa region map, legitly find Uganda. Right, you don't even know where that is.
This is indeed a sad story but this is part of humanity. I bet that next week no one will even think of these Africans. -

Reality Bites.
And now for something completley different.

There is two sides to every story. Read deeply and be your own judge.
“There’s also something inherently misleading, naive, maybe even dangerous, about the idea of rescuing children or saving of Africa. It hints uncomfortably of the White Man’s Burden."
