1- The Ak47-Knife HAS A HIGHER RECOIL, no matter what you think, go try it.
2- It is not impossible to knife in all modes, it's just easier at GM cuz you usually get out of bullets and the enemy gets closer to you.

And btw, you are right, you are able to get knife kills in alle modes, go camping or go Rookie Server, easiest way.
