Does the permanent axe count into that ribbon or?

Gun Collector
You currently own more than 25 permanent weapons (starting weapons and knife don't count)

Q: Whats going on with the Gun Hobbyist and Collector ribbons?!??!

A: The Gun Collecting ribbons have undergone some slight changes. Anyone who previously had the ribbon will not lose it. But please note, this ribbon is now calculated daily and you CAN lose the ribbon if you sell your weapons.

The Gun Collection ribbons now count the following: All Permanent Weapons, Except Grenades, the starting knife and your starting weapons (m16 and m700)

EDIT: The answer, short and sweet, is that it doesn't.

Melee weapons do not count.

Thus making it a "gun collection".

It says all permanent weapons, except grenades, the starting knife, m16 and m700. So if axe doesn't count, you should correct it...
It's misleading.

The name is Gun Collector.

An axe is not classified as a gun.

But yeah, I guess you're somewhat right, it should be changed to all permanent guns.

Then why do they bother putting knife there in the first place? It suggests that other melee weapons will count.
