Farming

Alright..
I just joined a clan called "BlackBlooD*" earlier today and after a while I started noticing, almost everyone in the clan was farming.
So I simply typed in the clan chat -"So is this a farming clan or what?".
The leader of the clan answered "No, I just farmed 7k to rank up to major".
And I said to him that "Once a farmer, always a farmer".
He, along with 5 other from the clan, started to argue with me about farming. They thought, that just because a bunch of other people is farming, that makes farming a fair play. I knew from before that they were all just a few years younger than me but I just had to explain to them that farming is not and will never be considered as fair play. Farming is almost like a "shortcut" through the rank system. When you farm, it only proves that you're to lazy to rank up the fair way (the way you're supposed to rank up). And some may even say farming is a type of cheating. And you have to know that even if you haven't download a particular program or any kind of illegal material, doesn't mean there aren't any other ways to cheat. Glitching, bugging and farming are all leaks in the game that isn't appriciated.
So to all of you farmers out there;
There's only one way to play fair. That's the way you're supposed to play. Farming is not the right way to go. Even if you have just a small amount of exp to rank up, it will still be considered as farming. Which is obviously a bad thing. A pathetic way to go in my own words.
Just wanted to share that. And btw, I left the clan as soon as the conversation was over.

How does a farmer affect you? when a farmer joins a game everyone spams noob farmer.
Would you rather have a bunch of farmers or wallhackers? Exactly.
I'm not saying wallhack is better than farming, I'm just saying that farming is considered as a bad thing. -

Everyone always says this. Let me briefly explain how it affects me/everyone.
The ranking system is meant to show the "Hardest working" player, one who earned his rank all the way from 0 EXP to whatever he has now.
This player cannot be on the leader-boards since there are a bunch of nobs up there who have farmed it and as stated by the OP took a "shortcut" to the top.
How would you feel if you worked really hard for months/years to obtain something, and then another person comes in and illegitimately reaches your position without any effort?
TL;DR?
Others deserve to be Number 1, people who do not farm. -
Although farming is considered to be quite "noob" I really don't see a problem with it. Out of the few people I know that do farm every single one farms for the gp, all they want is to get his/her favorite weapon and blast away with it until it gets old then they move on to the next one.
Now as it being a system of achievement I do understand some peoples frustration, but it quite resembles the gun argument of a m12s/ScarLight being a overpowered gun. Its YOUR choice not to use it, I personally don't use either of them because I prefer a challenge; and it takes the fun out of the game, which for me is the whole point of Crossfire, to have fun. My only beef with a farmer is when they farm for the rank and then boast that because their a captain that they could wreck me any day with any gun due to me having a lower rank.

Farming is for no life morons since they don't comprehend that they are spending way too much time in a game, instead of just play like any regular player. Soon you will see that ruili noob responding, arguing that he has a life. Of course you have, and you dedicate 99% of it to a GAME. ?
This has been argued before when ADIGA reached Marshal. He kept saying he is skilled and lovely, until eventually he got bored and stopped for whatever reason. Where was the actual skill? Nowhere, it just passed away at the moment he actually found a real life girl. Now all we have to do is trying to explain the same thing to another idiot: ruilli88,87,89,91,95 and so on... -

No life is when you are all 24/7 on your computer without going out on fresh air,not talking to your family and only making friends on games.Thats no life.

I'm almost 16 and I still attend school. I have a girlfriend and I actually go out with my friends and stay with my family way more than I play crossfire.

well we all know that 80 % of turks in Cf are farmers,hackers or hackusate kids. 20% of them are splited 10% are totally amatures and 10% are pros.I know only 5% of turks who are pro's.Rest of them i do not know.well you cant argue with his logic ^^
But atleast i showed to that guy JETMOMO what is different between skill and farm.Hes kdr when i was kicked was 3-7 and he bringed hes little buddy TE]-iSTiKLaL to kick me. -

I'm almost 16 and I still attend school. I have a girlfriend and I actually go out with my friends and stay with my family way more than I play crossfire.
So you dont have to worry about that.I also have life.I'm searching for a job even i'm 3 years without a job.Here in croatia is hard to get it.
I allways go out to play soccer with my friends(what else i can do :S )
I had in this week 3 calls for the season work.
i'm soon 26 if i dont get the job in here till 27 year i will probably go to italy or some european countrys to find there a job. :S -

By playing the game your own way you're destroying this community. You're doing something that is not appriciated which attracts attention, in a bad way.
You're taking advantage of the leaks in this game. You're basically a pathetic person for doing this. It has nothing to do with your IRL life. -
Iwerty i did farmed also.But that was long time ago when i was still master sgt.But it was only till the second lt when i understand my skills did droped abit in gm.He's pathetic? Until then i didnt farmed not even once.So i cheated on the rank but that doesnt mean that i'm pathetic.Everyone must have they redemptions.So leave it be.Farming is cheating on rank.But thats not what it counts. Skill is counting more then farming.So you can farm how ever you like but skill counts then farm.You can be high ranked but whats the point if you have the high rank if you dont have skill.
