My ping displays as normal in some games, 60-70 in US West server, but my switching of weapons is really slow, as if I'm lagging.

I've noticed that my regging is slower too, so I know that I am lagging, but my ping stays normal, even in Toronto servers.

I did a 1v1 with a friend though, but that time my ping displayed my lag properly.

Now the real problem is, no other computer/device is using my internet, my auto update isn't being used or anything, I'm just randomly spiking in CF, and on TS my clan mates tell me that my voice is choppy, etc.

Anyone have a solution?

Because other things can make your weapon switch slow down aside from bandwidth. Same with voice clarity.

Okay.

FPS is 80 as usual.

Sometimes, my weapon switch is fast, other times no, slow like I have have 400 ping.

Use the resource monitor while you are playing ig. That should tell you what is spiking and the process.

Btw, I tried testing my speed on Speednet, my download speed was all over the chart, 2-7MB.

Where shall I look for spiking in the Reliability and Performance monitor while I'm in game? :S

If you only have one monitor, that's a problem. You can choose to ss or record that one program. Or more likely, you'll notice that it has a chart over the past 60 seconds which you can filter by process. Is 7 Mbps even enough to play cf?

Altho it happens to me in only SOME games..
My ping is 70 and feels it is 400 too
