Doesn't mean he can't try and fix.
And yeah, get another Video card. I'm not a computer expert taht much either. Also check the cable in which it connects to the moniter, it may be broken or something. -

1) i know that it is broken so i was wondering how to fix it
2) i dont want to spend lots of money on a pc that can be fixed

If it is the mobo, then it won't boot in all likelihood. You can test the components in another machine to find the missing one. If you can shut it down with the keyboard, it's either the gpu or the gpu/mobo connection which means u need a new mobo.
I am not going to becuase i can't even see the screen. like it is pure black. -
If it has windows 7,after you have left the power on for a while, press the windows key, right arrow then enter. Then tell us what happens. If it has another os, you might have to use a different sequence.
No. I think it is window xp or vista, likely xp -
Try this.
try 1:
Replace the wire connecting from monitor to computer.
Try 2: Replace the screen.
Try 3: Take to a factory and tell them to change the outlet of the wire that connects to the monitor.
Try 4: Tanke to a factory to fix it.
Try 5: Range quit.
Try 6: Do nothing and sit aroung. -

RAM test
Ok if u cant able to see the display, which means problem with RAM. Just remove the RAM and start ur pc. It should give some beep sound.. thats means ur MOBO is ok. then turn it off by unpluging the back power cord. Then insert the RAM, before that use normal eraser to rub off the dusts from the ram(rub gently on the golden lines in the RAM). Now try it.. If it still not work try with another RAM. -
