Five rounds and spops?
First is not in e8.
maybe if you actually download the demo you will press tab and realize they are all in the same clan and breaking league rules. It was first round, teams often forget they wear spops and switch next round, besides, they were some chinese team. I had all of xanax on my team... WOGL used to be 5 rounds, do your homework. -

1. Scrims are called scrims because they are practices for leagues and take place in a competitive environment. Breaking league rules and wearing spops means that it was neither practice for a league or a competitive environment. It cannot be considered a scrim.
2. WOGL was never 5 rounds. They may have run a pug or two at 5 rounds because WEM ran 5 rounds, but they never ran a season with a 5 round format.
Also the third frag people were running spops and M4 silvers. wololo -

Who are you? Scrims are between two teams that run strats, have chemistry, and not play casually. We weren't wearing spops or breaking any rules. If the Vietnamese team we were facing didn't speak English and didn't want to play normal league rules it just made it harder for us. It was in echo 8 and we did ask for a 5v5 teams only. They were horrible and we ended up rolling them, that's why we made it 5 rounds, and didn't care if they broke the rules. I got the leagues confused because this happened a long time ago. I don't understand why you came onto this thread and didn't believe me. I also see you went onto both videos and disliked them to get your anger out, you're a funny kid. -

Read my name backwards.
"A scrimmage, or exhibition game, is an informal sports contest or practice match engaged in for practice purposes which does not go on the regular season record"
If you are not practicing for a league, it is not a scrim, aka scrimmage. If I made a room with 5 BR players from the same clan in echo 8, ran 13 rounds and used kriss and tommies, by your logic it can be considered a scrim as long as my team doesn't care what they use.
Understand that "scrim" has a clear, defined definition. Not caring about it doesn't change that.
Also on the BW Awp frag from A window your own team is running a spop.
I "didn't believe you" because I don't normally believe people who flat out state false facts.
I'm mad? So because I see someone misrepresenting their video, and then correct them, I'm MAD? That means I got emotionally STIRRED by it? Is it not possible that I'M JUST CORRECTING YOU? If anybody is mad, it's YOU for responding so defensively to a ****ing correction. Get over yourself.
I didn't dislike either of those videos. I can't remember ever disliking a youtube video. For arguments sake though, let's say I did. Let's say I clicked the big ol' thumbs down button.
SO WHAT? If dislike the ****ing video, why should I refrain from showing my opinion through the medium put there SPECIFICALLY TO SHOW MY OPINION??? Are you actually mad over a dislike on a frag show? Really?
Fact: The term scrim is clearly defined, and is not up for interpretation. The only argument that you could actually have at this point would be to say that you were practicing for some secret league that barely anyone knows about that involves 5 rounds and SPOPs =\ -

Calm down, obviously you're angry if you're willing to type 3 paragraphs explaining how much you know about scrimming when I've never heard of you in my life. I'm not mad, I'm just confused why you are so arrogant and believe no one but yourself can be correct about this subject. I've played professional ever since WOGL-P came out, I've played in multiple leagues for CSS. A scrim doesn't always mean a preparation for league, why do you think ringers play? We were still preparing for a league even if we were destroying kids. Are you even on a team? And No I'm not mad that you disliked the frag vid, I just chuckled at the fact you would do so. It makes sense you did because it didn't have a dislike until you blew up at me for getting a 5k against some bads. If you don't want to edit it then don't, you don't have to scream to every editor that it's "a lie". I'm done with this, it's pointless to argue with someone so ignorant, now please don't get out your dictionary so you can reply to this. -

don't be arrogant and like you know something and then get mad when you're proved wrong -
You're just another no name LOL
good ****ing lord bro, you clearly have no idea what you're talking about
edit: before you call anyone "no-name" or random, think about how -
a) literally no one knows who you are
b) the only team you have ever played for was arguably one of the worst teams in this game
c) both the people you've called random are pretty well known -

If I say you are attracted to the earth because of faeries pulling you towards it, and then someone else corrects me with the FACT of gravity, am I allowed to use this argument???

A scrim is a practice and a practice is a scrim. You aren't practicing if you aren't practicing in an environment that actually warrants practicing, AKA league rules.
I've stood on earth since I was born, so I know what I'm talking about. Faeries are the only thing keeping us from floating into space. Are you even on a team? I blew up? I made a post correcting your mistake in terminology. Why the **** does everyone on this forum think that someone pointing out that they're wrong warrants a defense and a flamewar? If you don't want to edit it then don't, you don't have to scream to every editor that it's "a lie". Yes, mock me for using a dictionary in an argument over the definition of a word.
What kind of moron using a science textbook when arguing gravity. -

I played for xanax, It's a well known fact they were one of the best in their prime, I'm suprised you didn't do a sheepbacon carry joke. I've played this game forever. You're stupid if you didn't think I knew it was Denxi, He's in VM with me lol. -

Good job, you finally grasped onto what I was saying.

Grats, you passed Geometry in highscool! Now you understand converses!
I've stood on earth since I was born,
That surprises me, I would think you would be socially less awkward.
so I know what I'm talking about.
NOPE
Faeries are the only thing keeping us from floating into space.
Good analogy.
I blew up? I made a post correcting your mistake in terminology. Why the **** does everyone on this forum think that someone pointing out that they're wrong warrants a defense and a flamewar?
Because you did it publicly, if you simply wanted to correct me you would do so privately, I would especially think that since we're in VM together, but I suppose you just like to try and make your teammates look like jackasses, probably why you've never played competitively.
Yes, mock me for using a dictionary in an argument over the definition of a word.

Yeah but those people actually have experienced gravity (a scrim), you haven't.
We were practicing. Why do you think baseball players play with bat weights even though that's not their actually weight? (we let the other team use powerful weapons). Because they are better one they take it off. The other team was so bad that we let them use those weapons because it didn't make a difference. -

Actually, the baseball analogy that actually fits this would be a team allowing the other baseball team to use corked bats. Which doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
You analogy only applies if YOU use something that's harder to use than the standard, e.g. you all use the FA-MAS. -

Yes, but regardless it challenged the team, thus making it harder either way. -

One way challenges the team by modifying one scenario that takes place in competitive play by only making it harder for them. All the mechanics are the same.
The other modifies the scenario to the point that that scenario doesn't exist in competitive play.
Scrimming 4v5 will not make you better in 5v5 comp play. You need to make something more difficult without it changing the way you play to be detrimental. Corking the opponent's bat will only help your pitcher, it will hurt every other player on the team. Just as playing against SPOPs and against silence weapons will not actually increase your skill level when it comes to leagues. -

It will increase aim, not strategy. We weren't calling strats so it didn't negate that basis at all, we were playing a default the whole time. Sure we take risks we normally wouldn't, but obviously you wouldn't do the same thing every round in a competitive match either. -
Scrimming 4v5 will not make you better in 5v5 comp play.
It would substantially! By having only 4 you are handicapped, and players get picked in comp VERY often. For example if rushing a site with 4, a player would be under even more pressure, causing the player to have to hit all of their shots etc. Instead of an A 2-3 Split, it would be 2-2. Having a handicap SOME of the time helps, and not even you can deny that. -

Playing 4v5 would not help you at all.
When you play a man down from spawn, both you and the other team play completely differently. SO MUCH SO, that becoming accustom to the play of yourself and the enemy becomes detrimental to your play when 5v5ing. Same goes with aiming at a SPOP. Neither of those things require a difference play that only increase skill, they also require a difference in play which also takes away from your skill in a 5v5. -

Pay attention to "some".Playing 4v5 would not help you at all.

So aiming at smaller hitboxes and or characters require less skill? Where are you pulling this backwards logic out of? Yeah it's different characters than you play against in comp, but you're still aiming... Lol. Spops get peak advantage so it only requires faster reaction time to hit, so in conclusion, playing handicapped SOME of the time increases skill substantially. -
Pay attention to "some".
Pay attention to yourself outright stating that 4v5s would help. I have never said that there are not cases where a disadvantage in a practice will increase your skill, only that the examples you cited did not fall under this category. So aiming at smaller hitboxes and or characters require less skill? Playing against a SPOP will not help your aim with a rifle.
Fact: The SPOPs head is more defined than the male characters head, due to the way the hitboxes correspond with the models, and the way the default characters are hunched over.
This means the SPOP is easier to headshot than the normal male characters.
As for the SPOP affecting a sniper, it is seemingly harder to hit the body, however there is an argument that the SPOP does NOT have peek advantage due to her large and awkward strafe animation. -

-You inferred that absolutely no handicaps would help because it would be "different than comp play"
"Playing against a SPOP will not help your aim with a rifle.
Fact: The SPOPs head is more defined than the male characters head, due to the way the hitboxes correspond with the models, and the way the default characters are hunched over."
-The new head position gives a different target, thus making it harder to hit. Just earlier you were so strongly stressing that basically any difference(or at least anything I say) from competitive play would be worse.
"As for the SPOP affecting a sniper, it is seemingly harder to hit the body, however there is an argument that the SPOP does NOT have peek advantage due to her large and awkward strafe animation."
-Yet another opinion/made up fact you endlessly pull out of somewhere deep in some magical part of forums I am yet to find. You yourself criticized the hitboxes as being very random in your OWN hitbox video. So would the the hunch in the SPOP actually make that much of a nano-pixel difference? -
-You inferred that absolutely no handicaps would help because it would be "different than comp play"
The only way that could have been inferred is by me not explicitly stating that handicaps can help your skill in competitive play at times. I try to avoid stating obvious facts."Playing against a SPOP will not help your aim with a rifle.
No, it gives a target which is much easier to aim at. The fact that the target is in a different location is barely even relevant, if that, when compared with the fact that that different location actually makes the SPOP's head EASIER to hit.
"As for the SPOP affecting a sniper, it is seemingly harder to hit the body, however there is an argument that the SPOP does NOT have peek advantage due to her large and awkward strafe animation."

I'm saying the possibility exists. I'm not using that as an argument. It IS a fact that the SPOP has an odd and distinct strafe walk. Whether that affects the peaking is a question I brought up, not a fact I stated. With that, I'M SAYING that it may actually help the sniper, however whether it will or won't has yet to be defined. -
I try to avoid stating obvious facts.
-You only clearly stated this "obvious" fact in the post i quoted, and I was referring to before so, anyway my general argument was on the fact that handicaps helped.
I'M SAYING that it may actually help the sniper, however whether it will or won't has yet to be defined.
Fair enough. Lol. Ok well, I presume this whole thread is resolved?
