Joining a game takes long.

I haven't been playing Crossfire for about 6 months, but recently i started playing and i noticed a difference when i try join a game it takes literally up to 1minute and sometimes up to 2minute.

Before it used to take less than 20 seconds. I dont know whats the problem.

Normally it will say loading then go to a black page for about 30 seconds then another 1 minute for it to load up.

Anyone got any solutions on how i can make it load faster?

Computer specs? Ram could be an issue here.

Agreed, This may be due to your computer specifications---you might need to upgrade some of your components. Most likely it is your cpu or ram.

I got a 1GB RAM. I had 3GB ram but...long story.

Is it because of my ram?

No these problem are cause by the memory z8 is putting in the cf files like new maps aand other stuff. This also happen because they disable window aero and put it to window basic so it laggs

Im actually having this same exact problem. My old computer's processor fried & i had to get a new computer all around, same year dell, same specs, same ram everything, and on the computer before it took like, 3 - 5 minutes sometimes for crossfire to start up, now its just random sometimes it takes 15 seconds, sometimes it takes 5 minutes, sometimes it takes a minute & joining a game for the first time since you've re-opened crossfire takes like 5 minutes, and then the games after that take about two minutes to join. So i don't think its a problem with ram or anything.
